Dragon Traveller - Hands-Free

Dragon Traveller is the first hands-free role playing app. A eyes-on-the-road and hands-on-the-wheel gaming experience for travellers. This app was designed by Jody Shackelford to illustrate the way to introduce games into the in-car app industry. Speaking about innovation Ford Motors CEO Mark Fields said, "It is a big opportunity for us but we have to keep in mind to make sure that we keep the driver’s eyes on the road and hands on the wheel." Staying with that theme, Dragon Traveller is played with only the user's voice with no visual distraction. The user plays as an amnesiatic traveller who wakes near a stream. By listening and issuing commands, the use is able to navigate through the game as the story unfolds. The game takes up no more attention than listening to an audio book or the radio and keeps the users eyes free to focus on the road and the hands firmly on the wheel, while enjoying a brand new travel gaming experience.
