Star Teacher Online

This app is designed for star gazers and beginners that would like to learn about the constellation in the daylight. There are about 20 constellations included in the application. These can be trace and also hints may be provided with very easy illustrations to be remembered. The website http://www.fourmilab.ch/yoursky/ was used to obtain landscapes with stars at 4.5 magnitude. At this magnitude stars can usually be seen with the naked eye. Please try this and let me know what you think and any changes you would recommend.

This app does use data so please be cautious when using the app. The app will demand very little per page. If you wish not to use data please see my other app which does not use any data.

The app does rotate per the time of your phone and will be able to change the position by inputting the longitude. I would like to expand the app to more than 15 constellations in the future.

The best time to see the constellations that are in this app for a latitude around 35 to 45 degrees is from July to September. This is not to say that these constellations are not able to be seen at other times just not all at the same time.

Please let me know if anyone is having trouble with the rotation as this should work for all locations.
