Games4Language - English

We are very pleased to present the digital educational application Games4Language intended for schooling in English language.

The application demonstrates new tendencies in child education encompassing new initiatives and opportunities brought by digital technology.

The application Games4Language presents a set of educational games aimed at the education of English language vocabulary. Each of the games contains both written and spoken parts of particular words, and also with an accompanying illustration.

By playing these games, children teach themselves to spell the words properly, to recognize them according to listening and pronunciation. By using simple game principles (pairs, domino, puzzle, testing), the particular games stimulate not only the knowledge of English vocabulary, but also memory, acumen, combinatorial skills and natural vocabulary of the native language.

In its current form, the application Games4Language contains vocabulary of approximately 1600 words. This is an open platform however, thus enabling further current possibilities.
