PackRat Card Collecting Game

Played when it first started in 2008. Was away along time. No point in playing unless you pay 10.00 per month for xl. Fliprat is so bad now cant win cards to sell or credits. So many are leaving because its so bad now. Will be quitting soon again cant afford it.

Love this game! I've been playing since 2008. If you like collecting, then you will love this game. A fun game where you collect sets of cards to store in your 'vault'for safe keeping.

Great time filler but can be expensive if,like me,you buy lots of tickets.

Packrat is a fun game with a clear objective, a long life and a solid online community.

It's addictive and I love the concept and how things work. The only things I don't like is that auctioning cards is for XL members only, and that I have been waiting for 1 card to drop to the markets forever. But besides that really great app. Not really too much or an overwhelming amount of pay to play. I understand they have to make money. So I like it.

I love collecting things, but I only have so much room in my house! The artwork is gorgeous and often quirky. When there are issues within the game, Devs are quick to sort it out. I absolutely recommend trying this game!

Just the thing; rarely boring, just enough challenge, and cooperative community of players (unlike many other coop games full of nasty Trolls!!!) New stuff all the time - so glad I stuck with it through the developer change a few years ago!

Can't play the game. Using a kobo arc 7 and packrat won't load for me. ****EDIT:**** Have new tablet and it works good now.

The first game I played on fb and I keep comming back always. There were rough times for the creators I feel but now it's working just like it's should

Just started using the new app and it is amazing so far. I look forward to playing more Pack Rat on the go.

I started playing packrat (on facebook) in 05/08. It's gone through many changes and owners since then. I quit in 02/10 when the money-gouging got ridiculous. When I came back in 10/15 (after HookBang acquired it), I was amazed that it still had all my cards and collections on record. It has it's own website now, as well as this app, so you can switch back and forth easily and not have the hassle of facebook and their server issues. The app works pretty good now. I still yearn for the original version of the game, but this one is fun and addictive and they release new cards/collections frequently. It also seems to have staying power, since it's going on 8 years old at this point, and still active, so you don't have to worry as much about your work getting lost. You won't lose your progress if you lose your phone either (looking at you, Neko Atsune), since your data is stored elsewhere. If you like collecting things, crafting, and cute pictures, you will probably enjoy it. You *can* play without XL (my husband does), but it's harder (due to the more limited amount of time you have to buy each card), and you'll probably want to make friends with at least one person who has it.

I've loved this game since I started playing it. I just wish they'd bring back flipping a ticket here or there, too and not just credits and draw cards.

Beautiful artwork on card sets ranging in size from 4 to 30 plus cards. The game is wonderfully addictive. And the Packrat community is amazing. I've been playing since 2009. And I'm an 'oldster'.

Beautiful artwork, imaginative and humorous themes, creative design and great communication with devs, it is never just a card collection game, but a learning experience. Each set is a gateway to a whole new world, and we can learn so much from the glimpses they offer us.

I tried to figure out how to level up and asked the only help thingy and i got nothing... But I finished a collection and each time i got bumped up a level and unlocked new markets so that way you can have more to buy from!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Started playing years ago and just came back to it. I love all the ways to play this.

I'm a long time player. But when the game changed to app i missed so many of the collection because there's no notification when a collection expired. Plz make some adjustment because I'm so not happy with this.

Once you fully understand the game it is very hard to stop playing. Devs are very open and approachable too which is brilliant.

I have played for over 7 years. This version is very playable and having a phone ap as well has been great.

I rarely have any glitches, and tech support is very quick to respond. Thank you for all you do.

Played when it first started then could not get on with the changes now am back. Unless I am missing something I can not see where u can get new friends or ask for friends. I miss that as I had great friends before that helped me, now it is just lonely old me

I'm so happy this game is a app now!!!! I've been playing for years since 2008 or 2009 when it was just a Facebook game. It's great for a introvert like myself you can literally play for hours. The satisfaction you feel from finding a card you've been searching for to complete a set is the best feeling. Very addicting!!!

Automatically hooked, however I don't have Facebook, nor do I want it so it looks like I'll be limited. If this wasn't the case, I would absolutely give 5 stars.
