Stride Files The Square Murder

The game was a wonderful idea. The gameplay length was perfect, the story and mystery was amazing, the voiceacting was nice but felt a bit weird since the old butler's wife had a younger female voice as well as mrs. Henson. As for the graphics it was visually appealing. There is however a bug i encounter everytime i click somewhere else while talking to mrs. Howard she suddenly disappears and i have to click the room again. You had to know the small details unrelated to the case which I found rather unnecessary. Overall this was really good for a free game in the play store and I'm looking forward for more fantastic games from the devs.

This is more of a text-based murder mystery game so the graphics, sounds, and gameplay are more on the simple side. That said, the voice acting's a nice touch (even though they still could have done it better), and the drawings and dialogues are surprisingly detailed for such a simple game. However, there's not so much you can do unless you pay for the full version and when I tried to unlock it, the Google prompt said that the app's billing version is no longer supported. That's why I couldn't really do anything more. UPDATE: Was pleasantly surprised to learn that they've decided to make the game totally free. That way, I was able to play the full game and even finished it shortly after. The case is actually pretty short and straightforward. Touching parts of the screen, especially the text choices, sometimes got tricky though. There's also a bug that causes Mrs. Howard to disappear from the kitchen when you accidentally close her conversation screen/quit talking to her. Good thing it can be resolved by simply exiting the room using the map and going back to the kitchen to talk to her again. Oh and by the way, I also don't see how some of the questions on the quiz are any relevant to the case itself at all. I guess they were put there only to test the memory and observation skills of the player and to motivate us to really click through the screens thoroughly.

we had to know things of the background that you wouldnt think to acrually pay attention to. Hint: There is one murder but two ways to die.

It is fun, and would be even better if there were more cases to solve. By the time I got the hang of the game it was over.

I like this game. My only question is how to reduse the sound (music)?

It's hard to say. Graphics are good, voice, etc, good. But what the hell, how to pick-up a clue? Or is that the living room in the mansion supposed to be exciting enough to have me buy the full version? If it's what you expected, you missed your point. Before I would pay, I would have to be able to start playing, i.e. start being able to solve something, not just read through a trailer.

Wonderful. I think this game really represent how detective works in a real way. Though I don't have any idea about what's going on at first, but that's the challenges and I can feel the atmosphere of being a true detective in this game. (I think this game is too hard for some so they give up on it but idk) but overall this game is great! Really worth playing.

I like it though its a little boring. The text is small. And I don't understand the plot that much. Question: Do I look for the answers that Errol and the police doesn't know?

Paid for the full version and it was worth it! Best game, other crime or mystery games are mostly hidden objects but this one is an investigation. So fulfilling, I never do reviews but I'm telling you, this was different, worth my time.

The game is really good but when I go click buy to unlock content it doesn't do anything. Tried going to main menu and purchasing from there but that doesn't work either...

Seemed just the kind of game I like at first. Detective case, looking for clues, questioning suspects and witnesses. But it doesn't allow you to unlock the game to go further, so it had to be abandoned. Shame.

the grahics is so so, the game is quite cheap so is worth a play since the story can be interesting

its a nice game but why do we have to buy it?????? if you noticed only 50,000+ people downloaded this game! if it was 100% free millions of people will download this game but now since its not free no one will download it! so please i hope you make it free...

When I first played the game...I thought it wud b wonderful....and thus bought it....but it didn't turn out as I thought it wud b....first, the games too short....and there are quite less clues.....and honestly. ..who gives a darn as to who painted what and whats the guys name in the snap and like wise questions (trying not to giv the spoiler here)....thts not related to the case.... u guys had a great concept for this game and u can do so much better...I mean expand the storyline and include more clues....

You will probably need a pen and some paper to remember everything it asks you, but its still fun.

Getting a bit stuck. Got clues like bill of dagger, burned shoes, micheal and walters diaries, phiel of medicine,bill of medicine. Been through the 2 bedrooms, the lounge the verander and patio and kitchen and spoke to the people also done the same to police station, jake, chadwick, morgue, walters office. Cant seem to do anything else after that
