SpellGrid is a minimalist word game combining anagrams with classic crossword game play. Starting with a single word without any repeated letters (e.g. LEXICON), players drag and drop letters to form additional words, joining them together in an ever growing grid.

This game is a fun, easy (but mentally engaging) time waster. Gameplay would get a 4of5, however the frequency of ad prompts is much too overbearing. I am now getting before start of game AND after end of game two ads: one paid ad followed by one ad prompting me to purchase spellgrid+. Give me a break, please. I understand that the developers revenue is generated through either selling adverts or their game, but I am spending more time loading and dismissing ads than I am playing the game!!

I like the game but ad after ad and the SpellGrid+ reminder every time the game finishes, too much so am uninstalling. Such a shame seeing as this has been pointed out by other players before. Seems nothing has been done.

Basically has you creating your own crossword puzzle with the same letters as the starting word. It's good, although I wish the game didn't nag you to buy the plus version after every game (on top of the fullscreen ads which I can live with).
