Pixel Defenders Puzzle

This is one of the best games I've ever played on a mobile device. And by the time I thought it couldn't be better we have the shadow prophecy. An expansion that not only adds new levels but it also brings a new unbelievably clever new type of gameplay. Great work!

Impossible to play if you are colourblind. How hard would it be to include a small symbol so that the coloured blocks can be differentiated? Many other match three games do this.

Please change the icon, it is misleading. I almost never gave this game a chance, since the icon looks like painted vector art. The pixel gfx are the star of the show!

Certain combinations of units have different values for turns taken. Makes it hard to plan the "turns taken" star. Annoying if you're trying to be a completionist

I'll give this five stars but anybody expecting a quick pick up and play should steer clear. Ploughing through the tutorials feels like being taught a complicated alien variant of chess rather than a casual puzzler or match three. Be warned.

The gameplay is great! You do not get bogged down by ads or some pay to win money trap. Best game.

Great fantasy themed puzzle game

I cannot recommend this game enough! it has match-three elements and fun retro RPG elements that make it feel like a Final Fantasy puzzle game! The tutorial is an excellent guide to teach you how to play, and the early levels give you some breathing room to learn the tactics without beating you up. Also with the additional Endless and Assault modes, there is plenty of variety in this game to more than justify the $2! also: no in-app purchases! just want to thank the devs for this amazing and fun game!

Harder than it looks.

This game is the perfect amount of both challenging and fun--definitely worth my money. The animation is cute and whimsical, and the gameplay amps up the typical, overdone match 3 style game with a taste of nostalgia. I do wish there were more than four levels, because I enjoyed playing the game so much! I would definitely purchase a Pixel Defenders 2 :)

It's a grouping game, but there's actually(more of) a point to the game, to destroy enemies and protect an asset. It's a perfect mix of RPG and puzzle game play. I didn't think that was possible, heh, but it showed me wrong and I really enjoy it.

Talk about a developer that respects their audience. Zero exploitative in app purchases, excellent gameplay, very colourful pixel art, and heck, there's even an option to control whether or not the game suspends in the background or just quits when you minimize to preserve battery. These guys are in my good book.

This game is the perfect mix of strategy, casual playing, and puzzles. Never any bugs, and I'm even happier an expansion is now offered. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to even more expansions beyond the first.

Great fun! Match three identical combatants together and watch them morph into a stronger unit. Use these units to attack everything in the top half of the screen. It's a great concept and fully deserving of your time

Perfect for those quicky game situations. Waiting for a train, on the train, at home, forever! Simple with with an edge of challenge, especially the expansion.

Really good strategy and puzzle game. Easy to initiate an understanding of the mechanics, but takes awhile to get good at it. Recommended for any puzzler out there.

Reported the bug, got no reply and the bugs been there for months now. Too bad, I used to love this game.

Great fantasy themed puzzle game

Hands down... one of the best apps I have ever purchased. Also one of the best games I have played in the last few years. Great mix of Puzzle, Fantasy RPG, and 8Bit classic graphics. This game needs to be on the PC and Console systems. DO NOT MISS THIS.

If you enjoy puzzle games, this will make you happy. Take Triple Town and add combat and a turn based system and you get this game. Quite fun :)

Good game

The game doesn't seem that deep at first and very quickly it becomes a challenging and enjoyable puzzle RPG hybrid.

Cannot use undo. It just flashes the screen. Only seems to happen reliably on Assault Mode after updating for the new expansion. Also freezes the app. Running a Note 2 on 4.4.2.
