Ghosts of Memories - Adventure Puzzle Game for Android
Disappointed, sadly this game is style over substance. It's just a pretty exercise in block moving, I can't even call it a game as there's no puzzling challenge. Just move the blocks until you can take another step forward. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Guh! So annoyed I spent money on this.
Worst controls ever. Moving the blocks is so bad, even though graphics and story is ok , i regret paying this game. If they fix controls, game would be 5 stars.
Highly disappointed, the game play is for children, the graphics are mediocre, sorry developers but not very impressed at all. However it was only $1.06 so not a real loss.
Lovely maze with attractive graphics, nice music and neat story line. Puzzles are not particularly difficult compared to some absurdly tricky room escapes I've tried. Occasionally clunky controls - dragging objects in some puzzles is awkward.
This is a very beautiful and meditative game. It took me about a month of playing a few times a week to finish. Easy to solve one level at a time, then put it down. Some of the puzzles are tough, but in a good way.
just one complaint... it's too short! if there were more levels I'd probably be constantly be on my phone playing this. one of the best puzzle games I've played yet.
The game has interesting puzzles and game mechanics, great graphics and art, and amazing sound production. Loved every minute of it and wish Paplus would make more! Only complaint is that it's a bit short.
I would love this game, but when I completed both missions, there was supposed to be a concluding video I assume, and I watched a black screen while listening to the audio. I was very disappointed. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.
The sliding block puzzle on level 20 is broken! I have looked up written tutorials, I have looked up video tutorials, I have spent almost 12 hours trying to solve it on my own and none of it has worked. Mind you the rest of the game is fine until this point but that does not change the fact that it has waisted my time and money and will most likely waste yours too.
Pixel-C on Nougat 7.1. Pity; don't waste your money.
Pretty graphics, the depth of field is cool. The narrative helps set the mood. I felt the game flow is too slow for my preference. Would of liked if the character could move slightly faster.
A charming puzzler with more story than most. Puzzles can be a bit repetitive and the touch controls a little finicky, especially on sliding puzzles, but I enjoyed the story and the visuals are superb. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, especially to Monument Valley fans.
The game is very easy and requires nothing more than monotonous movement of your character from A to B then to C etc. Can't play it any longer.
I downloaded this purely as I was looking for something to take my mind off waiting for Monument Valley 2 to arrive on Android and this reminded me of it from the screenshots. Sadly it's not as smooth to play and lacks the clever shape shifting level design. It looks fairly pretty in it's own right however. The thing I dislike the most is the controls are clunky and unresponsive. The puzzles on the whole are either frustrating to solve due to the controls or simply far too easy. I'd wait for Monument Valley 2 or play through the first again as it's still a joy despite completing countless times. I doubt I'll even bother completing this game due to the lacklustre controls.
Gorgeous - absolutely the best, most well designed game I've played in years across any platform. Best money I've spent in a while, too. Got hooked on the trial version, glad I sprung for the full game; it's a bit of a short game by my standards, but every single level is beautiful and the puzzles are just the right difficulty to take my mind off the world and keep it cheerfully busy.
2 Stars for the main game. It was boring and repetitive. One extra Star the Epilogue episodes. It had better atmosphere and the game play was more challenging. None of the cut scene video was working.
It appears to have video cutscenes, but these only appear as completely black with audio on my Pixel. Gameplay in the first three levels was easy and tedious. Hope it gets more challenging later on.
The game looks nice, reminds me a lot of monument valley. Game play wise I have played the first 5 levels, it seems to be mostly move some platforms and stand on a square, the puzzle being which ones to move to get you there. I will have a few more goes but I don't see it holding my attention for long, seems a little tedious.
Well, it's no Monument Valley! I had this game recommended to me because really enjoyed Monument Valley, and superficially I can see why, but in reality the two games just don't compare. MV is a well thought out, highly polished concept game, this is just a buggy cash grab ;^<
I fell in love with the graphic. Its mesmerizing. It just need more challenge and more level. But overall, it's one of puzzle game that I recommended to play.
Brilliant concept (Monument Valley knockoff), beautifully presented, marred by glitches which caused game reset in middle of 4 levels... If you persevere though it's rewarding.
Nice graphics, but short and easy. A few bugs made the floor disappear and I had to restart a few of the levels because of it.
Pretty challenging and the surrounding is amazing, but in the middle of level i found a bug, the character stuck on a path, cannot move anywhere and i need to restart the game and start over ;-;
Slick gameplay and good fun to play. Puzzles are generally quite easy,, but maybe the easiness ensures you'll finish the game at least and won't find it too frustrating. The last level was anticlimactic as it was easier than the levels immediately preceding it. Two downsides however - first none of the cut scene movies work on either my Pixel XL or my Pixel C, both running 7.1.2, The other is the wooden and slightly spaced out sounding in-game dialogue from the main character. After a while I found myself lowering the volume every time she started uttering her nonsense
It's a bit of a "curate's egg" this - it looks good, and plays well, but... Bugs rear their head and spoil it. It doesn't always notice you finished a level - the shard is mended, but doesn't trigger the level exit, and you can't do anything except restart. And if you leave it alone too long, it slugs the whole tablet to a crawl so you have to restart Android. Plus, for a puzzle game it eats batteries for breakfast! But... It's a good game. Yes the ending is a little weak - calling it "Battle" is definitely a misnomer - and you can finish it in a few hours of you have your charger handy. Having said all that I was disappointed when it ended as I was enjoying playing it. Hence the 5, despite the problems.
None of the films play, so no concept of continuity, nor game win clarity. Still somewhat confused about whether I won or finished some other way.
Every movie but between levels just displays a black screen with the skip button. Still a problem even after recent update.
Nice but too many bugs. Several times the character moves out of the path and remain stuck, so I must restart. Please fix
It's hard to talk about this game without mentioning Monument Valley, the mechanics are very much the same, so is the abstract atmosphere to the story. Yet they are so different from one another, not at all in a bad way. Great story, beautiful music, and gorgeous visuals. Sounds effects and voice acting just as on point. I hope with all my heart that there's more story arcs to be added to this one. Definitely one of the best app games I've played!
It's alright I guess but didn't really do it for me. I did not like how the character stops moving to start talking. Also how when a new element of the maze is revealed the camera pans over to it but the quickly pans back right when you think you can touch it. The music and narrator's voice are mystical sounding but so soft and gentle that they make you sleepy. Puzzles are repetitive. The background graphics are beautiful and the character is neat but oddly they are different styles that totally don't go together. Rather than the character being in the game she looks like on top of the game, if that makes sense. Despite my negative points I do think it is a really good effort and the dev has talent. This one though just doesn't come together really.
Is this game supported on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+? Because all I can see is a brown backdrop after finishing its download. There's the woman talikng about the intro in the blank brown backdrop but there's no game. Is there something wrong that I did? EDIT. Reinstalled the app. And it worked fine, it's definitely worth it to download the game.
The gameplay is ripped right out of Monument Valley, the story - such as it is - is simplistic and terribly told, the controls are often iffy, there are a bunch of level-breaking bugs... and yet: or all its faults, Ghost of Memories is really rather good. Gorgeous, involved and remarkably rewarding.
A beautiful but tedious game. I love puzzle games, but I like them to be more challenging. The puzzles repeat mechanics, disguising them as something new, instead of adding mechanics that create complexity. The story offers very little: vague words that interrupt gameplay.
I really enjoyed the relaxing music, beautiful graphics and interesting puzzle solving. There is a glitch on L19 where I ended up hovering in midair and had to restart. Fixed on restart but frustrating to redo level. Puzzles did start to get repetitive towards the end but overall nice way to pass the time.
Very disappointed. The game looks STUNNING and the puzzles are great and I love the implied story and music but once I get to the fourth level it crashes on the loading screen. It's been doing so for half an hour. I wish I was able to play the rest...
I adore this game. I played the demo and fell in love. I really wish there was more content, because I'd love to know more about the world. And I'm very curious about the protagonists. Overall, fairly simple to control, extremely gorgeous and atmospheric, and the gameplay can range from simple to convoluted. I think a level glitched on me once that actually forced me to restart it. But all in all, I couldn't recommend this game more.
If you like the screenshots, know that they don't do the game justice. This game is beautiful, incredibly atmospheric and hauntingly serene. The puzzles are a bit on the simplistic side, but it is a game worth every penny.
Totally wonderful. Challenging puzzles. Excellent music and sounds. Beautiful graphics. Engaging story. The spatial geometry of the world is a bit askew but still pretty enjoyable. I even think it made the game not only more beautiful but also interesting to look at. A totally sublime game.
This game was beautifully designed and there was intelligence put behind the puzzles. Only thing that got me was it was a bit short for my liking. I finished it in about a day but it is a game that I will certainly replay again. The level design was well thought out and carefully planned. Hope there will be a sequel or more levels added.

I was recommended to try this game because I like Monument Valley. It's a great looking game and some of the puzzles are quite interesting. Still they got a bit repetitive as you play on,or inconsistent, when play mechanics change in later levels. Rated 3 stars as I ended up floating in air on a couple levels and had to restart each level.
