hocus. for Android
This game is an intuitive little jaunt with intriguing puzzles that play on your hyperdimensional analysis and spatial reasoning. The sound design is crisp and clean; the controls are intuitive and simple; each puzzle is comparitively challenging, while inherently unique! I've never seen an app so wholly embrace the platform it's hosted on. All in all, a perfect timekiller, and great training for those of us interested in molecular physics.
Very beautiful game. It's after a very long time I found a game which makes you think. I really can't think if anything that is wrong with this. The music, the gameplay, the layout, everything is so simplistic yet so peacefully beautiful. I play it to relax after work or gym. No stress no anxiety just pure simple thought and perspective. I would like to take this opportunity to commend the design and development team of the app and look forward to more apps from them. Keep it up.
Overall it's a winner. This simple concept is well executed to create something that is spacially thought provoking. It's a bit odd that you basically can't loose. I feel that maybe there ought to be some advanced player mode with a timer maybe. Also I enjoy the red and the grayscale but I feel that more colors could be tastefully added. I think the cube could change color per level or maybe it could even leave behind some kind a muted color trail where it has rolled. Also while I love the Zen vibe of it all I feel that the cube could move a bit quicker. It seems a bit too slow IMO. I'm sure you devs are aware of it but the controls on the cube game "edge" are a good comparison to this. That game controls tighter IMO. But again, overall a pleasant game experience! Thanks for your effort on this!
Not super hard, but engaging just enough to make you think and feel quite satisfied when that cube sinks into the hole. Love the peaceful music and minimalist graphics. I was disappointed to find that the level creation tool is busted. I set a starting point, hit the check mark, it moves on to the next step, but then nothing is clickable except the back arrow. Please fix this! I was very excited to create my own level!!
This is just challenging enough to force my brain to slow down and relax. I like everything about this game. The level designer/tester and player-submitted stuff is over the top. It's easy to use and keeps giving after those first 100 are done. I'm also a huge fan of displaying the shape on seen levels. That's a huge improvement for replay value! Seriously... Love this! Thanks!
Not a bad little game. Makes you think and is actually quite relaxing. Updates that would make this game even better: A score system, optimum number of moves to goal for example. Some more colours, and perhaps different shape objects per level, and maybe some moving levels with obstacles, just to spice things up. Good work!
Simple design but fun! Nice so far, very easy to start but gets tricker as you go! not so happy with the fact they expect you to pay for the last set of levels ( would have been happy to sit though adds instead) the controls are simple but can be a bit rubbish -cube will often not go in the way you want unless your very, very exact with your taps. Overall an alright time waster!
Lovely game, and nicely challenging. One small request - would it be possible to queue up moves? I.e. make several swipes in a row, and the block will just follow the route. A single tap could cancel stop the block at any time, and of course, it will go straight passed irrelevant junctions. If you don't want to implement all that, then please would you at least consider accepting the swipe for the next direction at least half a second before the junction, so the block just keeps on moving smoothly.
I love your game very much. I enjoy the fact that there are so many options for play. I just noticed the list and am looking forward to trying them. So far I've just been playing the main levels. So far, at level 18, I couldn't ask for more. It's worth buying, and I don't say that often. One thing you should add is a button to rate your app on the play store. Lol, I looked everywhere for it and finally just came here directly to leave this review. Otherwise, keep up the great work! Thank you.
I love this game. It is incredibly fun and does a great job of finding a balance of entertaining and slightly complicated mindful. I really like optical illusions and this game is full of them. It's what makes it both hard/complicated and enjoyable. I have also found that this app is add free. I ha EA yet to come across an add even though this game is free. Hopefully it stays that way even after I made this statement. Overall this is a great app and it is definitely worth your time to install.
Simple yet entertaining gameplay. Like a maze puzzle but with impossible 3d shapes. I understand the minimal design but it would be nice to see a bit of variation in terms of colour because it does quickly get visually tedious and the bright red is a rather aggressive colour for such a calm puzzle (and wind chime / tibetan bowl soundtrack lol)
I found a glitch... ...please do not fix it. Roll the cube first, as it rolls, press your phones home button before it finishes rolling. Then, enjoy the music as long as you like, while you do whatever else you want... like type a review foe example. I can not find music like this that takes up so little space but plays repetitively or i would have downloaded it already. You have given me a way to that end. So, thank you. Please, do not fix the glitch. I really love this music. (Pressing home again ends the glitch)
This game concept is worthy of a five star rating, but there are a few instances of execution that make it fall short. First of all, the pros. I can tell this game took time and effort to program (and was fun to play), as I've myself gone into computer science. In addition, the ambient music really set the mood well. However, much as I would pay for a game like this, I'm turned off by the freemium. I don't want to support freemium culture, and therefore stopped playing after the 40th level. In addition, the levels in game are incredibly easy, and I was able to complete those levels in under 15 minutes total. I made and uploaded a real mind crusher that I'll happily let you use free of charge. (uploaded by roaringmartian4)
Nice game. Amazing concept. Really hard to think and solve it, most of the times it just happens with the flow. The graphics could have been better. And the Google Play XP points are so easy to collect. Reaching level 10 will give you 10,000 points. That I didn't like. But overall, a must play.
I like so much this game. It's a perfect kind of puzzle game to challenge your brain. I would suggest to improve the lines, cubes (paths) to be more biggest. Sometimes it's difficult to see the details of lines. Also, would be great whether the game at the end of each level show you the best path or the record time to solve it.
The game is one of my favourites, it kept me thinking and figuring out how to solve the puzzles. Although there are some negatives with my game. I thought after about 10 levels, that this is a good game, so I would support the creator of it, and 70 extra levels would be pretty nice. But now that I have solved every level, there are no 70 extra levels to play, or at least I seem to be unable to find them. Sadly I'm also unable to find any user created levels, the game always says me, that I have to check my connection, even though I'm connected to the internet. It can't be, that my connection isn't fast enough, I have 50k. If that gets fixed, there will be 5 stars.
Stunning! A work of art!! Super engaging and challenges the user's notions if perspective by completely breaking them! For any lover of M.C. Escher's work I truly recommend this game. Just wish the colors would change up a bit every few levels jusy to shake things up a bit. Otherwise, an excellent time killer.
Simple game. But there's not much thinking to do..you can't move the shapes around which means your redbox has only limited paths to go. You can blindly tap randomly and still complete levels. Instead of stimulating my brain i found myself playing this while thinking about other things.
One small bug?? When I leave the app running in the backgroud, a few minutes later the BGM of the app starts playing when I'm not on the app. S5 here and other apps doesn't do that so I know it's a bug?? Great game by the way! I'll change my rating if you guys can fix this.
Nice movement and simple features. The one aspect of the game that I found very frustrating is that being colorblind I could not always see the objective red square on the gray background. If the game featured an option to modify colors or even a simple option to identify where the end point to each puzzle was would make this game much more enjoyable for me personally. I'm sure those with perfect color vision do not experience this issue. Otherwise still a great game design.
I was woken up softly at 4am to the soft music of wind chimes. Couldn't figure out why because I do not own wind chimes. Nor do any of my neighbors. I thought maybe I changed the alarm on my clock... but no dice. It's Saturday morning, I don't have an alarm set for weekends. Then I recognize it. It was from your app. I had closed it but the music was still somehow playing in the background. What is even weirder is Android O didn't even say it was running in the background. Anyways thought I would let you know of this weird bug/relaxing alarm feature
This game is unbelievably addictive. Aside from the block ticking in the background, the music is soothing and Zen like. The game itself will stretch your mind to think outside of the normal problem solving way of thinking. For the abstract/engineering/ problem solving mind, you will love this game. Just be ready to put the phone down when your head hurts from playing so long. Awesome job!!!
This is a game worth of the title of being a game. It may not seem very fun or hard at first, but less than ten minutes in, you will be hooked. The pleasant brain activity and challenging puzzles are good enough to even pay for, so as long as this is free, everyone should download it.
It's more challenging cyphering the route of the block before you make your first first move. Then trying to do it without any mistakes. Pay attention to the shade of gray the end point rests on. Great game, ad free, simple but perfect graphics. Good job
The app itself is great. It challenges your brain and is a great time passers-by. However I found that you have to purchase the last 60 levels. This is understandable considering its a free game, but come on. Let us play a bit more before forcing us to pay up.
Just starting out it seems easy enough. Add some patience and deeper understanding of the games physics and you get a great way to kill a bit of time! Some of the puzzels can be hard to see in detail due to the games layout. Long story short: if you arn't loving it after the first few puzzles, this brain teaser isnt for you.
Well...it was a great game. Amazing graphics, good game play, relaxing music. All of this was 5 stars until...I get to level 40 and have to pay for the rest of the levels. It may only be $.99 but still, don't tell me there are 100 levels when in reality I only get 40% of the game....not even 50%!!!!! I understand you're an 'indie' company buy still...only less than half of this game is free?! You should really put that in your description or make your money in other ways. Maybe after 100 levels I would've bought more but 40 wasn't enough to intrigue me. If I would have sat down and played this full through it would have taken me like an hour to beat the game. That's not even worth me installing it in the first place. I'll be uninstalling now and looking for a better puzzle game with more levels....ACTUALLY FOR FREE this time.
The idea is brilliant and the exicusion is about as good as it can get with the idea. However I beat the whole game (free, so only the 40 levels) in about 15 min. Before school. The game is a little easy but im not sure how the game could be made harder with the idea of illusuons. Its a good game with a great idea, definitely worth an install and a quick play through.
Intuitive little game, relaxing atmosphere and high replay value due to the level creator. I seem to be unable to download/upload user made levels. It says "(check your Internet connection)" which is operating flawless, meaning the game cannot pickup my connection or something. 5 stars if this could be fixed, I'm kinda stuck now because I almost played through the entire game. I really want to take part in the community.
Simple early puzzles progressing to slightly more complex. Initially random taps of the screen following the guide of possible block motions can result in unexpected solution of the puzzle but once past number 21 or so the difficulty has increased sufficiently to involve a little more thought. Nice game so far but still undecided if I'll buy the higher levels which start at 40 currently on 36
Love this game! Simple clear graphics. Easy to pick up what you're supposed to do. No stressful timer so you can take your time and work out your route. Actually very relaxing! I usually turn off any annoying sound effects/music but this adds to the relaxation of the game. Highly satisfying when you get the cube 'home'! Easy to pick up and carry on when you have a few minutes. Well done Developers! I shall be playing this game for a long time to come!!!
Some levels are very challenging. Some look challenging but fall before your mighty logic easily. Soon all of them shall die by my swipe and I shall stand atop your geometrical ruins in victory while your red square holes weep in defeat. Basically, it's really fun and I'm glad I downloaded it. Every level is fun. Kudos.
I had thought the most satisfying puzzle I had played was Monument valley. I bet that game in on day. This game is noteworthy. It's been two hours and I'm only on level 40! I don't what to do with all the trinkets in the tool box. I never learned coding. But this game Top monument valley. Wish I had saved my money so I could the next 70 levels.
I love the game but have found an issue when playing on two devices. It would be great if you could save game play so that you can continue playing on a second device. I have logged in to my Google Play Games account, and I thought that by logging in that it would remember my game play on both devices. It's annoying because I've started playing on my Android phone, and now want to play on my Tablet, but can't continue from where I was up to on my phone.
Awesome have a hard time figuring out how things go together. This game is really helping me see various options for moving the block. It's not punishing me if I go the wrong way which is nice too. I like it. If it always stays at the thinking and doable stage with no tricks I'll play this for a while. Until I read the other reviews I never even realized how close it was to Monument Valley. I love to that game as well for the spatial relations
A lot of reviews seem to neglect the excellent level creator. If you find these levels too easy, build harder ones. I don't think the game is exceptionally difficult, but it is fun. I did have a small bug where leaving the game running in the background (e.g. hitting the home button or locking the phone) wouldn't stop the music played, so I'd keep hearing wind chimes all the time. Would definitely recommend and the $0.99 it costs is completely reasonable.
The game is a great puzzle game concept. It has nice graphics and calming music. The one major issue with the game is the controls. It vaguely instructs you how to play. It doesn't tell you that you need to swipe to change directions. It shows a dot on top with pulsing arrows that one would assume you use to control. But that's not the case. Also, because it is pulsing, I have to wait to see which direction is needed to move. There are several occasions where I would swipe one direction and it moves another
Similar to monument Valley without the tedious story telling. Enjoyable challenges and game play and a reasonable price for extended levels. Frustrating yet addictive, exactly what I want from a game. No in game purchases apart from extra levels by which point if you've reached the extra levels pack you know it's going to be 59p well spent. If I can't do a puzzle I sit sharing with friends, finally a game that's not a cash cow and delivers. Ignore the game developers below that wouldn't work for free ;)
No ads and just fun, like monument valley but better, the only problem I've found is that there's always an obvious solution, meaning you can basically just keep trying all avenues until solved. Maybe make a move limit or time limit but otherwise the game is great and fun, no technical issues at all

Nearly five stars. Like so many games there isn't a simple exit, you have to step back. Given the nature of mobile use you often want to finish quick (appointment called, stop reached) but developers think it's cool to trap you in. The other nice to have is a number of moves count with a target/minimum display for those who want a bit more challenge sometimes. Otherwise it's a really nice game.
