Argument Wars

As with all iCivic games, great game, great concept, very short lived. You can argue each side of the case, so once you're done with it, there's nothing new to make you wanna keep playing or play again. I love it that it's based on real cases, but what i'd love even more is that it actually follows a bit of narrative how it went down in the courtroom. Nonetheless, one of a kind game!

I just started playing and I'm actually liking it so far. It's not as challenging as I expected. Even non-lawyers might find themselves enjoying and learning from the game, or perhaps getting inspired to pursue law lol. But while it seems informative so far, it doesn't seem like it has a high replay value. Also, I have yet to see for myself if there's any truth to the silly argument cards mentioned by other reviewers.

This app has potential but it could be better. It's a card game essentially. You draw cards and form arguments to convince the judge that your side is correct. Sound is poor. Lots of old-school beeps. Along with an unintuitve UI, this limits the replay value. It's fun to argue Supreme Court cases but this is one of the weaker iCivics games.

The story lines in the game are told perfectly. Although not most of us understand the Amendments, but with the simplicity it is executed in the game made it much more understandble. It would be very exciting if the game features a two-player mode. It'd be more challenging to argue with someone as competitive.

A black judge just told me its perfectly valid that modern blacks should be segregated because slaves didn't have their right to education protected. This whole argument made me want to chuck my phone.

Pretty fun for the first couple of hours; you are able to argue the cases from either perspective, so it's really all about convincing the judge based on actual laws and previous Supreme Court rulings. Unfortunately, there's only a few cases and once completed the game begins to dull.

I really want this game to be playable. But every time I get to the sentence forming segment the screen freezes. It saddens me. Please please fix it. Its the only game so in depth like this that I've found.

Feels incomplete to me. This app/game has so much potential! I understand it's for educational purposes, but there are gamers out there who would definitely appreciate this game. Please add randomized cases to increase replayability

A lot of potential, yet it is wasted. Features only a small amount of levels with limited replayability. Has no ads and is free though, which makes it kind of worthwhile.

I was all excited I chose a character and everything but when the case began the screen zoomed and only showed the bottom half of it. If you could fix it I will change my rating but until then....

Great potential; needs improvement. The great thing about this game is that you can argue the cases either way--just like in actual cases. The problem lies on how the arguments are phrased and the set of supporting arguments itself. I understand that these may be lifted from the actual case during the oral arguments, but really, some of the ideas are unbelievable. Maybe you can add an easy/hard difficulty and then leave the ridiculous arguments in the easy mode and add convincing ones in the difficult mode. Also, there are cases which have no connection but are accepted by the judge just because they're decided cases. Please fix that.

I liked how the story develops and how accurate the depiction of the cases is, however the controls of the game are a bit sluggish.. as in the case of "elaborate the argument". Choosing takes many clicks... thank you for the game...

Game froze and said unknown exception. Please fix it. 5 stars otherwise.

Nice game... kindly add some more cases.. plz do make more such games to play.. it is a relief for boredom and idleness.. loved to play it

Man I have been looking for a game like this for the longest, The words are a little small, but forget that being a criminal justice student I can't put this game down. About to go and see if you have similar games. Can you make some Law and order games not the hidden clues type. that's boring I actually wNt to play the characters in the show. Considered thAt pls. over all ******

Wish there were more cases and maybe a campaign carer mode where you take the bar and firms recruit you and you start your career. Anyway good game love it .... Love learning this way

Great game. Makes learning about the amendments and historical supreme court cases fun. Nothing to buy, no hassling ads, just great.

Overall good except judge in brown v. Board of education is racist towards black people

I open the game and it freezes and keeps telling me to enter feedback game keeps crashing on Nexus 6

It's a great game although I think there should be more variety. And more levels other then bond vs united states. Also it would be great to play against another player.

The concept is excellent. The only thing that's needed is a few more cases to keep the game interesting. Update, this has real potential.

It's cool I'm a real lawyer and I'm proud that there's peoples that is interested in this even tho this is only a game but as long as people love it then I love it too

It's too great. It's an American constitution. But I need this in Indian constitution also. So please​ do it. Becaz I m a law student.
