Crystal Story

Game storyline is too short. The game becomes meaningless once the Dargon at Level 50 has been defeated as well as the completion of all the side quests, (if the player was ambitious, one can train to unlock all skills). Since the level of the characters caps way beyond Level 50, there should have been more tasks to accomplish to keep the purpose of training ongoing, otherwise, there is no need for such an endless level cap.

Great game! A lot of different things to do with side quest and mini games. Definitely a big bang for your buck.

Since the new update(android5.0) this game nor the second Crystal Story (2) will stay on my tablet, even downloading it again, Google says its a unknown error code -505.

I really like this game and I would give it 5 stars but the screen is so small. There is no way to make it full screen. In the options menu you can see something in the bottom corner of the screen but it's cut off and you can't see it. Full screen option would be nice because even in fighting sequences some of the action is cut off.

I have kept my eyes on this game for awhile. I love the artwork and character animations. Straightforward story launches you but exploration drives it. Combat is fun and I love the system of points, no one is a set class per se. I do wish the town setting was more like traditional rpg FF style, but it's simple. Only con is that for an item description in your inventory you have to press and hold the item as it immediately asks you which character you want to use it on.

What a great accomplishment from an Indie Developer!!! I expected to try it and refund but I was quickly hooked. Love everything about it. And I found that everything I would add to this has been implemented in part 2, which I am also about to purchase. Hope to see more from this genius developer. :)

It has great skills options, and monsters are affected more by specific attacks depending on type.

I especially enjoy the class system. Adding points to a class and leveling it rather than single abilities makes a lot of sense. It reminds me of a modified Borderlands class tree.

Giving this a 1 star. Don't get me wrong - this game was perfect on its flash/web version. I used to play this game A LOT on kongregate app when Android still used to support flash and I totally loved it. I spent so many hours playing this game. It saddens me though that the "official" android port is not up to par. The quality is not the same as the flash version, there are a lot of textures and animation missing (for example, in the dungeon/floor selection there are animated concentric moving circles in the flash version but in this version it's just a blank background). The resolution is also not as crisp as the flash version. The characters all look pixelated/blocky :( Hopefully the dev will update this game match it with the current flash version (which by the way is great).

Started playing Crystal Story 2 then after a hour decided to get part 1 and im glad I did the game has me enthralled its done very good and worth a 5 star rating.
