Super Gravitron

Great game, but for some reason doesn't play well on newer phones (including my Nexus 5x). Five stars if Terry (a genius of game design) can getting working smoothly like it used to. Until then, it's not really playable.

Simple concept, bounce around, don't get hit. It's stupidly hard but in a good way, forcing you to improve to do better (and as you see from the ragequit reviews it's not for everyone). Basically pulled straight from VVVVVV if you've played it.

The Edmund McMillen of 8-bit has gifted the Android platform another gem. Seeing 'ol Cap'n Veridian was enough to make me wanna jump back into VVVVVV(just to do things the hard way). Keep making games dude! You are without a question within my personal shortlist of the greatest indie devs.[Edit: it seems to run pretty choppily on the LG G4, to the point of being unplayable, though that's a problem with optimization, and not at all with the game]

I loved vvvvv but loathed this segment. I like it but starts off right away. Mabey a dificulty selection? Rn it seems like pressing randomly and keeping fingers crossed works better than manoeuvring according to reaction times

I generally like terry's games and loved vvvvvv, so this seemed like it would be a fun little pocket challenge. Had no idea what it was going in. First of all, its more difficult than it should be. I love hard games, but this game asks too much. That alone is not enough to destroy the game, but a very uneven framerate is absolutely unacceptable in a reflex skill game like this. The left and right buttons are also too small, i frequently lose them while playing. What else is there to say? Theres nothing else there to comment on.

For some reason the game lags really badly on my Nexus 6p. Worked flawlessly on other devices in the past.

I have a problem, it's very laggy on SD650. Other games run smoothly but this one no.

Severe FPS drop on Nexus 6P. Menu is full speed, framerate drops drastically ingame and in "About VVVVVV" screen.

The game is way too laggy on Xiomi Redminote 3. On my brother's iPhone runs flawlessly.

...um... I'm on a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and I have no video output. The only thing that occurs is music when I tap the black nothingness for the first time after startup.

For what is essentially a tech demo, this is an awesome "survive as long as you can" game. And if you suck at it, don't worry, being good at this game is definitely not the point.

Runs pretty bad on My Oneplus 3. Not smooth or responsive. I love how merciless it is, though.

Another fair masocore game from Cavanagh, Super Gravitron for android is definitely the definitive super gravitron experience. I have vvvvvv on my PC, and found it too hard because the time it took to press a key actually matters. With a (good) touch screen? Thought is action. People who hate this game are those who lack the patience to reach an apex of skill, or those who still don't find it challenging enough. If you're one of the latter, I suggest treating using the side-warp as a failure. Easily trebles the difficulty. PS: Unfair masocore is a game thats already insanely difficult, and then the RNG screws you in a way you can't get out of no matter what, this game never does that. Masocore is just super hard deathfests in general.

These squares just really, really want you dead. Jokes aside, this is a great game to play in downtime. Also, I suck at this game and can only manage 22 seconds.

For a gamer masochist, such as myself, this is perfect. The skill ceiling is nearly unlimited. Given the seemingly unlimited potential of randomized pattern combinations, along with the position of the character with each pattern, it keeps "formulaic play" dynamic. I play this therapeutically as a brain exercise. I love it. Best time 1:40.

The game is very fun, but it's quite difficult. I would suggest implementing different difficulties, where on easy things are slower, and on hard things are faster. The music and controls are great.

Fun challenge at first. Until it isn't anymore and it's just annoying. Also, music too loud without option.

Cool game, but the lag totally destroys it. I'm on a Snapdragon 810, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Brilliant little game. Only issue is that linking with Play Games doesn't work. EDIT: Also, mute option would be nice.

Great concept but it has no options like difficulty or sensitivity.
