EGG DEFENDER: an evolution based tower defense game!
You play as the brood mother of a rapidly expanding nest of ravenous creatures. Lay and hatch eggs to defend your nest. It is your duty to both protect your eggs and feed your young! Eradicate the indigenous slime population by devouring their biomass. Use it to evolve your children into larger, deadlier weapons of destruction.
Unlike other tower defense games, EGG DEFENDER involves the creative and more complex side of manipulating the invading monsters path by carefully crafting a maze of eggs and creatures.
-Set deadly labyrinths by building the path that enemies must take.
-Tap to strike from below as the Brood Mother.

This game was carried from scratch to playable proof-of-concept by students in less than 15 weeks as part of a rigorous collaboration between the Academy of Art University’s Game Design and Illustration departments.
Games are designed and optimized for the Nexus 7 Tablets but are playable on other devices as well.

Great game has potential, I love the art style. However it won't let me upgrade the wolves it just takes away 5 biomass and doesn't do anything. Plz fix it so that I can enjoy playing it!

The idea is awesome and the game is fun when it works. However the targeting on your towers is off. They prioritize weirdly. The game also freezes a lot and sometimes the blobs become untargetable and ruin the entire game.

I lost hundreds of hours playing this game. I enjoyed the challenge. Easy to learn, good evolution, great strategy. Except... it does glitch often. However, much less often if my device is charging so I assume the game is very demanding. I have two issues with Egg Defender. ONE is the targetting. On average, in the first half of the map the towers target the front runners and in the second half the most armoured. This is the opposite of what you want as player. Sit and watch as small nimble invaders streak through your defense. TWO is the way the game bogs down as you advance. At higher levels your towers spend longer and longer frozen as they wait for dead invaders to convert into cash for upgrades. There are other problems with the game, like what exactly does the 'bounce' upgrade do? I have never seen it in action. And, of course, level 16. It can be beaten but you will not.
