About XP1728

Some of you may remember a puzzle game named Intelligent Qube (Kurushi Final in Europe) on the first PlayStation. You were playing a character trapped on a grid and you had to destroy waves of moving cubes to avoid being crushed to death... XP1728 is directly inspired by that game and actually draws all its gameplay mechanics from it.

Your goal is to survive by destroying every cube, except black ones. Every time you destroy a black cube, the grid loses one row, leaving you less room to complete the level. In addition, special cubes (orange, green, and blue) allow you to make combos, but be careful...you may tend to get overexcited and forget some black cubes :)

That game was originally designed for hardcore gamers and puzzle game specialists seeking for challenge. If you think you have some skills, go straight to the campaign mode and try to get the highest possible score. A leaderboard is here to make you shine, but don't forget to log in. However, if you are a casual gamer, don't worry ! An interactive tutorial is here to introduce the basic rules and show you all kind of tricks to win and improve your score.

With more than 120 waves, XP1728 will certainly bring you some challenge. And if you think this is too easy, or you don't know how to improve your scores, you can still get new avatars and improvements from the vault !

To be fully playable, XP1728 requires a device at least capable of running GLBenchmark 2.1 Egypt Standard at 15 fps.

This game is not up to par with the original for the PSone but it is a step in the right direction. What i would prefer is if the game included a measure of your i.q at the end of your performance as in Kurushi. The title of the game is questionable too. What kind of name is Xp 1728, that is highly off-putting. Another gripe is the font size. I have to squint to see what i am reading. Font increase, IQ measure and a name change and ur onto a winner just like Kurushi. Good attempt tho & 2 thumbs up 4 effort.

I loved intelligent Cube on ps one, and this game is just as good. It works almost perfect, the only problem I have with it is after each stage I'm unable to tap quit or continue besides that it is perfect and if u guys can fix the screen so it fits my phone so i can continue or quit I'd give this game a 5 star rating, I'd give it ten stars if u fixed it and I would've happily paid 20$ for a version where the menu screens fit all devices. I have an lg lucky. No problem on my tab. Please fix

I've been waiting for a developer to recognize what a perfect fit Intelligence Cube is for mobile gaming! While unfortunately named, "XP1728" is a faithful re-creation of the PS1 classic, elegantly executed on the mobile platform. Prepare to cheer at your successes, & bellow at the heavens with your frustrations... But the frustrations will be from your clumsy fingers and foggy brain, not from any failings of the game. The ONLY thing missing is the orchestral music from the original!

I loved playing this on the ps1 then called Kurushi (which I still have). The game play is fine but the presentation is really basic. Menu are pretty horrible OK they work but look like they are just prototype for testing. With a much better presentation and some improved graphics I really think this could be the next best game app

Good game but movement and control reaction is too slow. Really like the game but the og one on psone had better color and scene graphics and that was like 15 years ago c'mon

Looking at the past reviews, the dev has def made an effort to implement requested features. The dpad is full circle and each lvl has menu at end. The game plays a lot like IQ, which is great for a buck. My only complaints are the text is too small and the cubes could be differentiated more clearly, can be hard to tell apart....I'd also like it if you could be pushed over by the new cubes that rise up and the char would say "uuuurrugh!" Like in IQ, :) but that's being nit-picky. Great remake all in all.

Worth it! Reminds you so much of the old demo game for the ps1. It's difficult too! So don't expect to breeze thru the levels.

This is reminiscent of I.Q. for sure but could you switch to one control stick instead of the four directional pads. Like the ones used in the first person shooter games for Android. Other than that great game. Thanks for listening.

This makes me so happy. I loved intelligent cube and was very surprised to see how nice the game play is on my galaxy s5. I do miss that original voice that used to say "PERFECT" though haha. Best 99 cents I've spent in a long time.

This game is a horrible mockery of intelligent cube. Game play sucks, controls sucks, cant go back without exiting the game. This game has mprr glitches than the first cpu. Trash it start over and if I could rate it, it would be a negative five stars.

S70%
by S####:

Game doesn't work on my phone even though it is listed as compatible. Rubbish. Game arena does not fit on screen and text is truncated at start and end of every line. Also cannot continue onto level 2 as there is no continue button accessible on the screen. Piece of crap. Do not purchase.
