DONALD TRUMP GAME for Android
Amy Lasch, 52, has told how the president-elect shunned professional stylists and even got his own family to cut his locks.
She described his blond dye job as a “calamity” and revealed he used so much lacquer to achieve his trademark style his hair was “solid and matted”.
And Amy, who worked with Trump on early seasons of the The Apprentice USA, dismissed rumours the businessman wore a toupee or had a hair transplant.
She said: “He has really long hair and he combs it back straight.
“He does it himself. It is real and it is his hair – he doesn’t have plugs.”
Amy continued: “When I looked at the back of his hair I could tell it was not a hairdresser cutting it. It was scary. It was just cut in a straight line.
“The colour was so inconsistent. It was not done correctly. They just coloured the top and did not colour what was underneath properly.
“It was someone in his inner-circle who was cutting and colouring his hair. His wife or maybe his daughter.”
Amy revealed Trump, 70, would arrive on set with his hair already styled but she was responsible for keeping it to his liking during filming.
She added “He used a spray with a stickiness to hold it in place. It was not up to me to change what he looks like – I couldn’t do that in a few minutes on a set.
“I would take my comb and point out what I would like to fix and he would normally fix it himself.
“I did comb the back and did the sides a bit. But everything was solid. It was matted to stay put. I tapped it with my comb and it would bounce back.”
Amy also claimed the property-mogul-turned-politician could make life difficult for others on the set of the show.
She said: “He was very commanding and you did not want to be caught talking about him on set. If you’re on his side and doing well in his eyes, everything is fine – if you are not, then it is difficult.”
