About RingFilter
• RingFilter gives you complete control over who may Call or Text you at any given time and day, and can accompany ALMOST ANY SCENARIO of exactly who you want to be able to call you or text you. Once set up, RingFilter will monitor incoming Calls and Texts at the SCHEDULES you specify, and for the times that you do not want it to monitor, you won’t know it is installed and will not affect your phone at all!
• Some programs have an issue where the phone Vibrates or Rings for a very short period. RingFilter will ALWAYS catch a Call or Text before the phone Vibrates or Rings.
• If you don't love RingFilter, return it for a full refund for up to 60 days after purchase! Just contact me and let me know why you didn't want it! RingFilter is a Whitelist and Blacklist program in one! Incoming Call options include
• Allow
• Silence
• Send to voicemail
• Block
Incoming Texts

Controlling who may Call and Text can be done at the following levels:
• Individual Contacts
• Number Prefix (Any number that begins with your chosen Number Prefix will be controlled exactly how you choose)
• Calls from Any Contact
• Texts from Any Contact
• Calls from Unknown Numbers
• Texts from Unknown Numbers
• Calls from Restricted Numbers (Private or Withheld Numbers, in which the caller does not supply their phone number)
• This takes the idea of Do Not Disturb to a whole new level, so you can work, sleep, etc. in peace and quiet, while still knowing that the people that you want to be able to contact you will ALWAYS be able to do so
• Set RingFilter to only allow your phone to ring at night when your family members Call or Text you, and to silence everyone else. When you wake up, you may then check your missed calls and voicemails the same way as you normally would.
• Shows a Notification Icon When monitoring, which you can turn off.
• You don’t have to have the conflict of whether to turn off your phone and miss important calls, or leave it on and be disturbed, ever again!
• If you need to quickly Silence ALL Calls and Texts, simply turn on Silent Override. Tap it again and everything is back to normal!

This is EXACTLY what I needed. I wanted an app I could run on my phone while I was sleeping that would allow ONLY important numbers to ring.....others to be ignored and silenced. This works flawlessly......love it. Its easy to setup as well....absolutely fabulous program.

Instructions/documentation. could be better. Uninstalled as it doesn't seem to work properly on Galaxy S3. Judging by many of the other call filter apps there is an issue with Samsung devices and setting the volume. Force ring tone option unfortunately doesn't allow you to mute a call when it comes through. Expensive for what it is.

The best call filter on the market. send calls to voice mail that you do not want to receive Between certain times and allow friends and family to call you and txt. Does not ring even once like some other apps do when blocking.

This application really works as advertised! The writer of the application/program is very hands on. He responds to questions and even offers assistace. As a courier and on call, nightly, I only needed my phone to alert me for work calls and text messages, and of course my family, so I could actually sleep and only be awoken by work and or family and not by everyone. Thanks to this app, I can do this!

I should've tried this first. I attempted to get by on the cheap by using a different app. that cost less but all it would do was quash the incoming calls with no option to send a call from someone you might really want to hear from, but not in your contacts, to voice mail. The documentation on getting started could be a tad better but if I can figure it out, you can too. Overall I'm very satisfied with this application.

This app has the power to do what I had been trying to do with several different apps to create complex rules for managing my ringer settings at all times. I ran into a force close issue, but upon sending the report to the developer, I got an email reply within minutes and developer immediately began trying to recreate the problem on his end. My issue was solved within 10 minutes of reporting it.

This is by far one of my favourite applications. It works really well. Great for filtering out calls. Nice to have some peace and quiet in the evening, safe in the knowledge that if close friends or family needed to contact me, I would be aware of their call. The developer gets full respect from me, courteous and prompt in any queries.

I hate spending money for cell phone apps and I'll tell you this is the best 5 bucks I've ever spent on any phone for any reason. This app works great. The only downside that I have found is that at least on my Samsung Vibrant (and this is why I marked 4 stars) I do get half rings through my headsets both bluetooth and wired, but I want to emphasize that I never ever get them on my phone. So enjoy!

Over all, I love this app but there are a few features I'd love added. The silent override mode is great, but I wish there was an opposite, a schedule override so that your calls aren't silenced on a nonstandard day (like vacations). Yes, I can go turn on/off schedules but a widget I could tap to turn off/resume scheduled mode would be great.
