About Sortd

Get the most out of this app in conjunction with the Sortd Smart Skin for Gmail (which you can install from sortd.com).

Voted as the No. 1 App for Gmail on Product Hunt, the Sortd Smart Skin for Gmail is by far the best way to manage your Tasks and Emails, with set of visually-organized to do lists alongside your Inbox.

Here's what Lifehacker says about Sortd:
- "It's pretty much all the features you'd want in a task manager, combined with your Inbox!"

Sortd is basically "Trello for Gmail" - a completely new way to manage your Email and Tasks in a single app. With Sortd, you can put your Email on your Action Plan, and manage all your work from one set of customizable To do lists.

This app is for people who constantly slip into the habit of using their Email Inbox as a To do list. Managing email is challenging - important conversations get lost in your Inbox and you lose track of important stuff.

No longer.

Sortd a great way to keep track of important email. Whatever your personal habits or productivity style are - GTD, Pomodoro, Kanban or anything else - Sortd is super flexible and customizable, and it will fit in with any workflow.

This app is the perfect companion to the Sortd Smart Skin for Gmail, which brings a world of organization to Gmail, where you spend time every day reading and responding to emails already.

Revoke the app and relaunch when it's done

Good start but needs to present a Kanban style view and not just a list view that you have to press buttons to flick left and right.

Integrate email and u r golden

Still early development and it shows. Until you can see emails from within the app without having to go in browser, this is totally useless. The web version works pretty well tho. For now itll have to do.

Is this app even finished? It doesn't work.

When in the mobile app, I can't open any of the emails to see its content, all I see is the list. In the Gmail app, I have all the labels but it says they're all empty! So after spending a long time sorting though email, I can't access anything unless I use the search bar in Gmail. Not to mention the app doesn't have the Inbox yet. I think I'll uninstall it.

I was very disappointed when I tried the mobile app. There is no functionality especially when compared to the Web app, which is amazing. I hope the developers continue to improve the mobile app.

How do I attach an email to a to-do item? I can use the other options, like setting reminders and notes. Is there a way to create a to-do from an email within the Gmail app?

Take this back to the drawing gang. This is absolutely useless and not the perfect companion. What were you thinking?

I love the way it has organized my entire life for me.

You can't create tasks based on emails which is really the purpose of the skin

The app shows all of the pertinent information that you have aggregated and added in the web version but, without the ability to access your inbox and sort emails, the app is unusable for the purpose that it is intended to address. Having to access your inbox in your gmail app and the aggregated lists in sortd requires more work resulting in a cumbersome workflow. Love the chrome extension but the mobile app needs the same functionality before it is worth using. You'll get there and when you do this could be the ideal workflow solution just don't forget the home screen widget.

UI-wise it feels not up to par with what a native app should. The + button is low-res and animations feel unfinished. Intuitive use of the app doesn't really play along with what happens. For example, touching a little circle next to an item in a checklist , I expect it to be filled out or the item marked as done. Not to be thrown into the edit page of the item. Small tweaks though and this app would be really promising.

Two things. I really need to see my Gmail priority inbox and have the ability to drag from list to list (like trello) for this to be great. Hopefully that comes in future releases.

K70%

Not a native app. I'm *not* going to enter my credentials in a webview. I should be able to sign in using my phone's account or Google Play Services.

Will be great, right now multiple account support and native google auth is missing

First thing I meet is I have to manually sign in with my Google account even though I'm signed in on my device. No thanks!

Wouldn't work with corporate single sign-on
