About DOT Challenge
DOT, an acronym for Do One Thing, encourages and challenges like-minded individuals to make simple lifestyle changes (referred to as DOTs) that protect, preserve and will, hopefully, help save the planet.
The DOT categories include Water, Waste, Conservation and Energy. One DOT, or many DOTs, within each category can be actioned – it’s entirely up to you how much of an impact you want to make on the world.
The lifestyle changes, or DOTs, that you decide to act on, can be shared across social platforms with friends and family. And, you can even challenge your friends and family to complete the same DOTs as you have. Points are allocated each time a DOT is completed, enabling you to climb the Global Earth Champion Leader Board. See how you compare to your friends, family and neighbours, and even how your suburb, town, city or country compares globally. It's all about encouraging positive lifestyle changes and having the information at your fingertips on how to go about it. App looks great. I dowloaded it to follow a friend while he risks his life to save the planet. Pity it doesn't work...I have only really tried to track the challenge. I can not see the map? I removed and reinstalled the App. Very frustrating. Please fix asap.

I have the app on my phone, and recently installed it on my tablet but cannot remember my password. There is no 'Forgt password?' option so I cannot log in. When I try to log in with Facebook, get error message Alert (option option) This needs fixing

I'm really fond of the idea behind the app, making people aware of the impact their lives have on the environment - thus encouraging positive change. However the app downplays the FACT that diet and lifestyle are the most detrimental to the environment. I encourage that such an option is added, where one could also be informed about the environmental benefits of Veganism and Vegetarianism. Saw you guys on SABC 3 this morning, good luck with the row

I feel like a puppy pawing at the screen. The app is 95% unresponsive to input (taps, swipes, etc.). It responds randomly, so I can't tell what I'm doing right or wrong. Can't complete my environmental profile, very frustrating.

Not bad for a start but needs some work. Too many generalisations and require a Not Applicable option as well - I rent, therefore unable to do renewable energy and getting penalised for that. Also need indicator to show which Dots have been achieved and what is outstanding

Great idea , great App when it works. Myself and a few friends around the world haven't been able to follow Braam and Wayne on the Cape to Rio page at all. It is stuck on a still image of the ocean dated 2 Feb. What's happening guys??
