Whizzky Whisky Scanner

Pretty solid app. The scanning feature is surprisingly useful. I'm missing a way to add Whiskys to my collection though that the app doesn't know. The provided data base is surely quite big but far from complete (of cause). This can be limiting sometimes. It would be nice to have a way of sugessting cascs.

Scanning feature is hit or miss. But I love the content, and I'm learning a ton from the app and others comments. I'm just a beginner in whiskey, and am experimenting and developing a nose and palate based on the descriptions included. It's an amazing world of fine whiskey. Glad to have this app at my side to help me enjoy the journey.

Scanning is hit and miss. The whisky database is still missing a bunch of stuff... but hey, I'm still glad that this app exists ! The rating and tasting notes system is great - the tasting assistant offers a fun, colourful and intuitive interface. Compelling and easy to use.

as previous comments, scanning is not working very good. It would be great to scan barcode, not picture label, and your whisky database is not complete, missing a lot of selections, please fix and then 5*

I couldn't use the scanner and I tried a good few bottles. I love all the other information especially since it is portable and in the palm of my hand. Please correct the scanning feature because that is the main feature advertised.

Very nice. As others have said the scanning can be hit and miss, but once this is fixed we have a winner in the battle of the whisky apps! Frankly better than the others already.

Scanning not always working perfectly. Easy and very useful app, especially when you go to tastings to make a list of what you like. Or whiskys you want to see a review first before buying.

Like Gert, I also received spam (for "Personal and Business Loan") to a dedicated e-mail used ONLY for Whizzky. I use seperate e-mails for most services exactly for this purpose. If you did not sell your email list you should check your servers.

Covers a very large database of good whiskys which is awsume. Well thougt out with a compact design. Its fast even on slow networks. The best whisky app there is at the moment. I like the comunity reviews which is quite accurate.

Good app for whiskey on the whole, but inaccurate scanner. Please improve image recognition algos or adopt better and more configurable ones. Thanks.

Great versatile app for tracking your collection and tasting notes. Some good information is available on various whisky's. So far there has only been one item missing from their database. The scanning facility hardly ever picks up the correct item.

This is a really useful app if you want to try new whiskies and want to know a bit more before you put your money down. I use it even when im sipping on a whisky to see if the tasting notes i get agrees with the app. Love it

The most comprehensive knowledge base on whisky I have come across. I enjoy the reviews and tasting notes. I also like the ability to keep favourites and save my own rating. A very easy to use and well maintained app.

Awesome app... however sometimes scanning not correct, possible scanning code issues between brands...

Overall speaking, it is good but just need an enhancement of the database. If it can add a remark of the price and place of purchase for private or public reference, which will make more user friendly.

Being able to scan a label and get information on a specific type of whisky is very useful! I've found several types that I hadn't tried before but are now part of my favourites list.

Database is limited, nothing seems to scan - but they add newly scanned websites straightaway so it will only get better as more people start using it. Social features will be a good addition.

Whisky. On my mobile. What a pleasure. Some initial teething problems with getting my scans right, but I've got it sorted now.

Best apps ever. It's help me to scan through the bottle and let me know whether the whisky is nice or not. Other than that, it's can let us know well the taste, nose of the whisky!!! Love this apps so much. Thanks for that!

Great app, as a whisky blogger it's perfect for keeping track of everything I've tried and what I want to try. The ability to scan bottles to add to their system is really handy!

Scanning leaves much to be desired, but overall a very good app. It's led me to a few good bourbons.

I am glad there is an app out there like this. The database is missing whiskeys I would expect and has some that I wouldn't. I am looking forward to future updates.

Deleted during set up. To confirm age you can only scroll one month at a time. For 55 years if truthful. Come on.

Great app except as for previous comments the scanner. Why not get rid of direct scan use camera to take image and read from that
