My Shake every day competition doesn't work at all. I have A P8 Lite with and accelerometer, so I'm not sure why it would not work, not even tapping the screen works (as suggested). The app itself seems to work well though for checking balances on all my contracts and buying bundles and airtime. Nicely designed and seems to not have any noticeable bugs as yet (except the current Shake Every Day comp.). Hope that it can be fixed soon, as it seems to be a nice app.

In response to Vodacom's response. My luck improved so much that I got a whole 5MB. Also the "wins" don't show up in your totals in the app so you don't know if have used them or not. At least in the previous iteration you either won or didn't and when you did it was worth something.

This is not the best app out there. Yes you can check your info when you dial the ×100# number but I have multiple accounts which I can only check the info for in the app. Also you can only double your data in the app: as no info is available I can't benefit from this. Now I have to pay ridiculous amounts for data. Also the shake every day worked once and never again. You no longer need to shake. You just select and you get your prize. What is a 10MB prize???? I have been a loyal supporter for over 15 years and these are silly fixes which can be done overnight. Seriously thinking of porting to a new network.

VODACOM PLEASE REPLY URGENTLY! Today I had a total balance of R79 airtime, during the day i was using WiFi and i decided to download Your APP, in WiFi. At no point was my actual mobile data on today. After downloading it i went in everything fine, home screen of app said i had R79. While i Checked ur app i had some YouTube videos downloading. Checked ur promotions and competitions, etc. Come back to homescreen, there it is R0 airtime. Checked balance using *111#, same thing. PLEASE solve this issue and compensate back for my airtime. Thanks for your assistance and help in advance. And i was never even sent a message to say my airtime has been depleted. Please send a SMS as i don't always have data or WiFi.

Why do you hate me Vodacom?! You won't let me send data all now! You say my number 'does not currently have transfer enabled. Please call 082111 to enable it'. I call the number and there's no way to enable. What's going on?!

I had posted previously stating that this app does not send through OTP after attempting to login with my Vodacom number. I had even followed the instructions given after my previous post but to no avail. I had gotten an email asking if the issue has been sorted out. I responded no, and no further communication. So tell me Vodacom, you see the negative feedback you are receiving, what are you doing about it? You have all these promotions but your customers cannot even access it!

Was working fine up untill the beginning of November and then it suddenly says data ballance is unavailable. It's been like that for the entire month and I do have data. Plead sort it out. Tried re downloading and clearing data already.

I'm really not impressed with Shake Every Day. I need to shake my phone violently for the shake to complete. Please make it more sensitive to movements. My wrists will thank you later.

Just one more glich though... when a gift of data does not show on my balance...even when I check a few hours later...balance still the same! Pls check into this or i may have to reduce stars once again...????

Vodacom your app service is unacceptable. App worked well when it was installed. However my app didnot allow me to purchase additional airtime and data bundles in the last 3 weeks. Why am I not allowed to purchase these deals through your call centre? Purchasing through the call centre Its more expensive vs deals on app. An advertised price needs to be honored. Please provide formal feedback on above 2 points? Tracey Ganas

Can't sit in my corporate job in my office shaking my phone all the time in front of my secretaries. And the balances don't reflect. Delayed. Don't know what Vodacom was thinking with the new app. Horrid. Porting to MTN. Data from Vodacom is also insanely expensive. Others are way more affordable. Done with these guys.

Went for upgrade and now on the new phone I log in and there is no number and all balance shown as unavailable. This was the main purpose I used the app for to track my balance and data. And the content seriously people were paid for coming up with the shake feature ????

I am.not happy with this app, every time I tried to login using my data it gives me this kind of problem "No internet connectivity You seem to be having trouble loading the My Vodacom App. Please check your internet connection and try again". But when i'm connected to Wi-Fi it works perfect please fix this because I can't always be connected to Wi-Fi. And I would be happy if you can fix this as soon as possible.

Well I see the feedback on all the comments are copy and paste answers, which I'm not surprised about, because Vodacom sucks in delivering services and customer care. Nobody ever gets back to you! I don't understand the new shake every day feature. What is the point of shaking the phone when you already see what your prize will be before shaking... where is the element of surprise? Also, thanks for my 5mb, wow I am lucky! Idiots! ????????????

This app is extremely bad. Everything is unresponsive and it takes forever to load anything on the app. Sometimes it doesn't update my airtime balance, making me think I have more airtime than I actually have. Very very bad app. Needs A LOT of work.

When it works, the app is really quite nice. It tends to freeze from time to time and consumes a lot of system resources when it does. I just rang the call center to find out why I am unable to view my data and airtime balances via the app. Fortunately the problem is not on my side and the friendly agent advised me that i simply have to wait 24/48hours for Vodacom to sort out the technical error (which started just over a week ago) :D

I bought a few times data x 2 . Everything was fine . Then I bought again and it was only data x1. Yet your option is x2. Sent email. Called the call center . And got some stupid excuse that it's a once off thing. Nowhere does it say once off. Your are misleading customers and I will take this issue further. Please educate your call centre people that once off means that I don't wish to enter into a reoccurring transaction ######### Today you gave the 500mb. No explanation ? Any way thank you for resolving this issue

Have won 30mb twice already with Shake Everyday, got the messages from Vodacom, but it is not reflected when I check my balance I do not get the 30mb! And Please dont reply that I have to mail Vodacom! Sort out your problems or I am just going to delete the app! Already Dissatisfied with Vodacom's Client Service and Strongly thinking of changing network after my contract has ended at Vodacom.

What a stupid change to the app, it looks as if you are masturbating when shaking the handset. I wonder how many phones motion detectors have been damaged because you have to shake it violently to get a result. Never mind the damage when the phone slips out of your hand and falls.

What is WRONG with your app? Bought airtime from my bank acc but when I govon the APP it says that information can't be displayed, NOT EVEN IF I REFRESH UNINSTALL OR REINSTALL IT! Now it WON'T allow me buying data & when I try it says I have insufficient funds???!!!????????????AG, HELL NO MAN, FIX THIS DISSAPOINTMENT OF AN APP! I put my trust expecting to work & this is what you as client have to deal with after having to pay RIDDICCIOULOUS AMOUNTS on airtime that's wasted on having to uninstall & reinstall a defective program?! #DISGRACED&DISSAPOINTED????????????????

Buggy to the point of being misleading for information, and unusable for buying bundles. Vodacom, if you can't build an app to reflect your business model then consider simplifying your business model - stop being stingey with all the expiry periods for one! ** Update 20171129: now it won't even run. Gives error message "We have technical issues with this functionality" .. riiiiight, technical issues with running the app?! LOL ** Update 20171204: emailed details and screenshots as requested.

I have had login issue with this app often. The otp that is sent is incorrect, or when buying more data I cannot login. The app is also really slow, one would think that a service provider for cell phone services would have the app optimise to run like lightning. Come on Vodacom!!!

Hang the developers first. It enables my mobile data when accessing app without my knowledge. I know vodacom app is zero rated. But it keeps mobile data on. So other apps starts using mobile data and my airtime got finished. Who ll pay the bill now??
