Weirdly inferior to earlier versions where you could store trips, as well as displaying elapsed Time and Time remaining of a departure . The official app displays information regarding the change at Sandton for the airport this one doesn't ( but used to). I would suggest returning to the drawing board and bringing back functionality that was not only useful but differentiated this app from the official app . If you are not better than the official app, why would anyone use it

App was great, but now it only shows me the settings page and is stuck there ????

Dark theme should have white status bar icons.

Great app! Just a bit disappointed with the non-material design. The app looks and feels like I'm using an iPhone. Would be a much better idea to stick to Google's material design standards. Other than that, the app works a lot better than the official Gautrain app. Glad it wasn't discontinued like I thought it was going before the update, seeing that it was updated in 2014. Keep up the good work!

Bus routes function removed. Stupid.

Well, I'm glad that the app is still getting some attention from the developer, but the redesign really isn't very good. Why the non-standard font for titles? Why is the overflow menu black instead of the standard white? It's a much better idea to stick to Google's Material Design guidelines for consistency with the look and feel of other apps. My main reason for not using the official Gautrain app is that it doesn't follow modern design principles. Also, why does the main screen show bus information when the primary purpose of the app is presumably to provide train departure times?

I'm also glad that the app has been abandoned but I think this update looks objectively worse than the old interface. Is this a react app because it looks more iOS than Android?

The bus tracking is broken, no buses appear on the map. Please fix it

Bus tracking stopped working

Timetable does not update when changed for holidays etc. which is the whole point of having the app.

How can I archive this? Copied from an updates description: "Added a planner where you can select a future date and create a trip for that specific date."

Reliable app, simple interface.

Inaccurate departure times. Slow to update bus positions. No "refresh" button.

Way better than the official Gautrain app which i logged tons of calls on and i got a very defensive response about their app when i tried to explain the glitches i was experincing . I like the "trip memory" capability, i dont have to always select start and end station coz i frequent a couple of different areas

Like with all things technology it starts off great than it starts to suck. Im actually on the bus right now and its still telling the bus is at the station. This apps inability to keep up with the holiday schedule mad me late for work more than once totally unacceptable. Worse off there was a bus strike and the app failed to mention this. Please fix these glitches.

The times indicated in the app are consistently out by 4-5 minutes - meaning you miss trains. You can't rely on the app, they haven't bothered to update the schedules. Also, the widgets don't work, shows the same station for departure and arrival. Used to work and be accurate, but not for the last 4 months. Poor.

Blows the official gautrain app out the water! Well done, sir/mam! Any possibility of adding the ability to scan the NFC chip in the cards with our phones to check the balances? Not sure if you're allowed to do it but it would be very handy. I've had to walk from bus stops up to 10km to the stations a few times because I didn't know whether there was money on my card and wasn't allowed on the bus when there wasn't. I take the train very seldomly so it's not like I just forgot to add credit the day before

Already recommended it to a complete stranger at the bus stop. Only one suggestion to get it to 5 stars: the bus routes map should have a refresh button on it (unless I've managed to miss it)

The bus tracking had become inaccurate or are not working.

The user interface and general features are way better than the official app. Love the "Guide", very useful when you are going somewhere for the first time.

Got the train car sizes wrong atm, takes a bit of getting used to, but not a bad app
