Makro mCard

Where are the prices?! My favourite Makro store is some distance away, so I need to plan my visits carefully. But without prices in the app, I have to find prices on your website in order to determine if a purchase is worthwhile. ** NB ** I am not asking to be able to shop from the app. I'm simply asking for the prices to be included, to help make informed decisions when I next visit the store. There's a huge difference between that and turning it into a shopping app!

I see the same problem that others have had with reset of password has had no attention to fix the problem. I am looked out and 15 request to reset not one email. If Makro expect me phone a call centre it should be open 24/7 or have your app working. Always enjoy shopping at Makro but the app is disappointing

Absolutely useless. Not linked to one's old Makro card. What is the point of this then? You really need to see how others do it before extolling the virtues of this useless app. So one must buy the whole shop before earning a reward? Mxm

Cool App, and very easy to understand and navigate. Im so happy that I finally have an extra card space in my wallet. Two points: 1)When entering my birthday, I had to click a lot of times to get to my birth data, a year dropdown should be added. 2) I would like to have a search function on the app to allow searching for my favourite products. But all and all a great app!!

For some reason my password is incorrect. I've requested an email to reset it numerous times but don't receive any emails. How am I supposed to reset my password now?

The reset password does not work. Went online to reset my password and I reset the password but now it won't let me log in to my account. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM.

App has a nice feel, easy to navigate but would appreciate a 'how does it work' tile when logging in. Not quite sure what to do at first and after searching the help button did I find the information looking for.

Very well designed app, but needs to have more products on offer to be of any use. With all the products that Makro offer, this app just gives a fraction.

I'm a software developer. I am super impressed with the Makro app, from the UI/UX design and the general ease of use especially the sign-up process. I've also shared the app with my developer colleagues and they all love it! Well done to the team involved 5/5 for me!

App doesn't allow you to register. Strangely this is on the same day they are offering a R 50 incentive.

A well designed and easy to use app. However prices on the products would help. The amount of products you have to buy before getting the award is a bit small. Had to look to find it.

The application keeps telling me that the closest store is 4km when it it is over 1000km away. No email is received when I need to reset my password. Got it installed but can't use it. Completely useless!

Well done Makro finally a mobile app for replacing Makro cards. I'm giving you 4 stars for only that. There are many things wrong with your application. Firstly, when trying to log in under my email address I had to fill in all details only to find out at the end that I've already been registered on the makro online site it would be advised that you change the behaviour of the app and after you enter the email address check it with your server so that the person don't waste his time registering when it's not needed. Secondly, the passwords on the mobile app do not accept special characters so something like a pound sign is accepted but is not recognised as a valid entry for password please change that behaviour as you dont state that in your password requirements. You are over complicating security and the average user will not know to take out the pound sign in the password and would not be able to complete registration of your app. Thirdly, as I have a long password I would like to paste in my password in the text box that is currently not an option within your app. Well done for being first in South Africa in providing us with a no card solution. One Step Closer in finally throwing away my wallet , I just wish all retailers can follow your example Please also focus on your retail till experience, it is absolutely terrible. Nobody signs on credit slips anymore you are the only retailer that requires that. That is no longer a legal requirement by banks , so why are you wasting peoples time at the till ? Where is tap and go, I know it's new technology but you should be up to date ? Link in to payment Solutions like Zapper and SnapScan. These are solutions that you can use to pay with a mobile app. Thanks for pulling Us One Step Closer in The Digital Age to a no card , no cash , no credit card solution.

Password reset function doesn't work my locked out of account

Love the fact that I no longer have to carry a card with me, however if the app had a full product catalogue of sorts to browse on the app, I would have given it a 5 star...

installed and it said the user exists. I did the forgot password and never received the password reset link.

Easy to use and so handy! I always forget my card. Love the fact that I can now be rewarded for my purchases

Thought I would be able to buy things on this App. As I couldn't buy things I thought it would atleast tell me the prices of the products but apparently I was incorrect both times.

Awesome to not have to carry your card around. App still needs a few big fixes, but is still very convenient and easy to use.
