ADB Wireless (no root)

Simple to set up and use. Great for Samsung VR app development as you can keep your phone connected to the Gear VR headset and keep deploying to the device. Fantastic app!

I don't need this app if I have to first enable it using USB cable. That I can anyway do without using this app so this app doesn't do anything more than showing adb commands and IP address

What's the point to use this app?It gives you your IP only , nothing more than this. These instructions were publicised on Android Studio website before...nothing new!!!!

I want wireless ADB to fix phones with broken USB. How can this work if I have to connect the phone via USB cable?

Amazing. I always carry a usb cable with me to deploy on the device but now no more. The one thing you need to know is that after you disconnect the usb cable you might want to repeat step 3 again, and it will reconnect wirelessly. Worked on Moto G Android 5.1

Pretty worthless. All it does is give you the commands you can find on other web sites. The only thing of any value is a convenient way to see your wifi IP address, but you can get that from your wifi settings.

This app doesn't do anything except showing your current ip. totally useless. the adb listen on tcpip part is builtin and does not require this app.

I had the same problem as the person below me, but for some reason my wifi was not connected and wanted my password again. As soon as my wifi connected, it worked!

I thought it was some other application which won't serve the purpose, but yes It does what it says.

It's good, though, is it normal that everytime I restart my phone I have to reuse usb cable to do connecting steps again?

My ROM for some reason doesn't have adb over wifi. This helped

Great app. It works on my Htc m7. But make sure you closed eclipse or android studio before executing any commands else it wont work!

I used this daily (android developer by trade) for a month with great success on 5+ dev phones. Stopped working following some Lollipop update (the 4.x phones still work, and lollipop 5.0.1 used to work) OR some other issue, perhaps related to Android Studio updates? Shame... .loved it. Murdered battery life, but QI charger + QI enabled dev phones + sensible screen timeout + DIY phone 'stand' with QI charger beneath it = bliss.
