Shyft for Android
Waste of time and data, when you try and login it says incorrect credentials, I then went on my PC and the same credentials got me signed on.
After a day, still not active. Uninstalling.

Have had very bad experiences with this app and the card...Firstly the card doesnt always work at all MasterCard POS. I once put all my forex in their prepaid card but couldn't even use that money..it was declined at POS and at atm it was saying insufficient balance when I had more than sufficient balance.. As if that was not enough..I contacted the support team and all they could say was load more funds and I did knowing I had enough funds but still the card wouldn't let me make a withdrawal..I ended up getting the money via Western Union mxim...Dont put all your trust on this app always have a backup plan..
Standard Bank big promises No delivery. App does not work don't waste your time with it
Move money instantly into forex...awesome
Was initially super excited about this app but then it made me put in my information only to tell me I can't use the app without a standard bank card. Now I'm going to have a consultant call me without my consent to try get me to sign up for a standard bank account. When clicking on the option "i don't have a standard bank account" the app *should* tell me that it's not supported and to be contacted by a representative i should fill in my information. Now i filled in my information without any choice, some telemarketer is going to call me tomorrow.
Crap. Don't be fooled into thinking that this is a trading app (like it seemed in the email sent). You have to fund your ZAR wallet then buy other currencies. The fund can only be used abroad. Here comes the worst part. To get your cash back you have to send it to yourself. Takes up to 5 days. Remaining funds in your ZAR wallet cannot be withdrawn to your original account. Under R30 left in my account. Should I then buy under $3 to have it send back to my personal account with extremely high fees? Really? I don't think so. Fees are also very high. Why charge a Forex fee? Is the account really overseas? This seems like a very good NCR matter to me...
Support is shocking. No telephone number to get a hold of someone. No examples of the fees, so you have to pay "schoolfees" to learn how they structured it.
Lovely app.. just would be nice to get an average price of the currency purchased
Great app
If you have standard Bank customers that don't have SA ID numbers, but use passport number. Why would you exclude them , by making 13 digit ID number mandatory. I can't even register. Totally useless

The concept is good, the software is fine but the security of the card is non existent! I have used the Shyft card for 3 months in France & not a single merchant machine has requested the pin! Sometimes the cashier calls for a signature but not always. What this means is that if you mislay your card anyone can use it to buy goods in a store. You do need the pin to withdraw cash from an ATM but for no other transactions. (Support at Shyft suggest that I must have been at merchants who have "old" machines but this is not the case. If I attempt to use a normal SA mastercard at the same merchant I am forced to input my pin) So, good idea but if you drop or mislay your card & do not realise it is missing (& report it) you will lose all your money because of a total lack of pin security!
