MyEskom Customer for Android
I have been phoning Eskom for days without them answering the phone and decided to download the app. Registered, and then got the message I have to call Eskom to authorize my ID..... How??? They don't answer the phone. App still of no use.
Good luck to anybody trying to use this app. In fact I cannot even rate the app as I am not ever able to log on - always invalid username or password. Come on Eskom - sometimes you do get things right. Please make an effort with this one.
Hi Eskom I absolutely love your app. But I cannot reset my password. Just get the authenticating screen. If this one issue could get resolved I woukd definitely give a higher rating. Hope you can fix the problem. Thanks!
This app was working perfectly. But now when i try and login it says " there has been a problem contacting the IM security webservice. Why does it keep saying this??
Useless, don't install, waste of time. I installed after 3 attempt. Now I can't log in, even I put correct username and password. Eskom is good only for loadsheds and exorbitant prices.
A completely different app to the previous one more focused on important features. Bill history and consumption data is missing for past 6 months. My in progress enquiry is shown as 'close'. Seeing other people's enquiries. My three phase reading shows 1 meter as read and 2 as estimates? Sending a complaint generates an email on the back end and upon checking my inbox I get an auto response mail saying I used the wrong email address. I can't submit meter readings as there is an Eskom padlock on my box.
Downloaded the app. My account number has 11 digits. App only allows 10. Won't allow to register
Useless app for essential provider, makes u more frustrated reaching no solution, like eskom usually does
Can't even validate the OTP it sends you on SMS. Can't get through to the call centre, no response to emails, like a big black hole into which money goes in.
Cannot submit my meter readings. It just hangs when submitting.

I have not installed this app on my phone but keep getting sms messages supplying an OTP pin to access the app. I suspect someone has entered my cellphone number to register on their app by mistake. Is it possible for Eskom to investigate ....contact me for further details.
It shows my account, but no details of the premise. Unable to do anything except see the current balance. App appears to have potential.
Login keeps timing out. Once eventually logged on, I try to report a problem. I can select Account number but not Premises. Unable to proceed from there.
Still waiting for OTP to be send. Have tried 100 times but no luck. Cant even register.....rubbish!

I have been using this app without any problems, submitting my readings every month. Since the new update I am experiencing problems. I submitted my reading, received a reference number (only about 2 hours later). When in received my account I noticed they used an estimation with much higher value. I called and after speaking to a very rude and impatient consultant she informed me that my reference number is for a balance enquiry not meter reading and therefore she cannot use the reading.
The app worked when I first downloaded it but now I can't login and it is very frustrating as I was sending my meter reading in. I suppose we will now go back to estimating again. I used the sms line to put my complaint through but no reply.
I can't really give an opinion on the app as I cannot even register to use it. All the info I enter is correct but I get to the verification window but never get the sms with the verification code to complete the registration.
Would have blimmin' well helped if Eskom had ever bothered to get back to me about the change of details. So I can't use the app

Initially when I used the App it was working fine. I can no longer access the App or login.
How do i register? If i use the account number it tells me invalid.. i dont know where to start from which digit as it only says 5 to 10? And with prepared meter number..same issue. From which digit do i start entering..ive tried various sections.

I have spoken to a Eskom consultant I only can download the app for my Anroid phone. I would like it on my computer. It says it is on my computer but I dont see the app. Search my whole computer but still no App. Restarted my computer still no App.
Never works. Service is currently unavailable all the time.
