Additionally, the station provides global, national and local news as well as gossip, sport, local traffic and weather reports. We’ve been broadcasting in the Eastern Cape since 1 January 1986. In December 2011 our broadcast footprint included the Garden Route and later Knysna, George and Mossel Bay.

I cannot get through a day without having AlgoaFM on in my car or work space. This station keeps you up to date all day of things happening around you. Your traffic updates are so appreciated. Another great initiative is Algoa Cares and the Mayor's Minutes. Keep up the great work guys!

Been a keen listener since the early 80's and whenever I left the transmission area (Garden Route for my timeshare / work) missed it terribly....BUT now that they broadcast in the Garden Route area, gone are my woes...Keep up the tunes !
