Bankmed for Android
I have submitted claims a number of times over the last few months. Not one submitted via app has got to Bankmed. Call centre would not take heed & report it so this is the only way to let you know and vent my frustration. Pls don't provide mobile features if they don't work. Also it would be great to attach a PDF document or take a photo. Thanks
Claim Submissions simply does not work. Spent 2 week's running around to fix the mess the App submission process created. Please fix!!
According to Bankmed, they have not received any of the claims submitted through this app. They claim that the app has bugs. Waste of time.
It does not incoperate balance, vitality or key.... the healthy living plans that are associated with the scheme. Improvement required.
Could be better
Ever since Discovery took over... It's been a huge stuff up. Now nothing is covered. Have to phone after every bill u get as your plan covers it but you still get billed. Also... The app is useless now. I go to find a Healthcare provider and search for a group... Then it just shows me the map of where I am... Not the Healthcare provider I wanted it to look for... I KNOW WHERE I AM IN SOUTH AFRICA... DO YOU GUYS KNOW HOW TO FIX YOUR STUPID APP?
Royal waste of time. Have to constantly update my password. Poor user experience. Had an emergency, got to the hospital and this poorly designed app wouldn't open. Such a stupid app
After it shows the bankmed logo. The next screen Ifa just white. .. like what the hell. It's a waste of data man
Every time I try to log on it says wrong password or invalid identity
Failure of web server bridge... tried the website, same error. No use in emergency that's for sure.

Not allowed to see what meds names are being debited from account, only how much, by which provider and supposedly which member. Not allowed to see chronic info for own registered dependents (its too sensitive they say!) So also cant check if meds actually belong to us or if they being charged to the right category (like chronic or savings). Their official website is exactly the same, and call-center clueless. BOOO!
Can't find a health care provider . This app is useless .
I can't open the app.it keeps on saying invalid password or username
In an emergency the find doctor part not working.

Crap app and service, used previous app, then downloaded new app get error message access denied user profile is not allowed acsess this content or function, contacted the support number just to be told to call back monday.crap service
Bankmed emailed us step by step instructions on how to upload digital card, but the menu does not have the link they refer to?
Useless app as it can't tell me which service providers are covered. Since discovery took over everything is a balls up. From completely ripping off clients on the traditional plan (only covering a handful of private hospitals when last year the 2016 hospital list was quite a substantial one covering all medi clinics) to totally pathetic customer service ( being on the phone ones entire lunch hour with no joy)
Was excited to submit an image of my claim but it was rejected for being unclear. Will try again with my next claim. Hopefully new update will resolve problem
Nothing on this app works. All you get is error msgs or they load forever only to say no data
Unable to take a photo or choose one from the gallery for the digital membership card. App crashes often, the back button doesn't take you to the previous screen, it closes the app and you need to log in again.
If you want to build an android application build a proper one. I would prefer browsing from a web browser over this.
Struggled to register for 5 days in a row as I was not receiving the registration PIN on my mobile number despite having elected this option. Only managed to register after opting for the email option. Now struggling to set up my OTP preference. Instead of making life easier, this app is totally useless.
I am unable to edit a picture previously loaded onto a digital card.. This is basic functionality that should never have passed QA as its an industry standard.
I can just think of all the paperwork disappearing and the stress factor reduced. . .if only you could package a doctor to prescribe on board the app.

I tried on numerous occasions to reset password, I followed the instructions as per app but I received nothing and not even the help desk or call centre agents could assist. My rating for this app is actually a big fat ZERO.

Was registered and used the old app fine. Since discovery has taken over and new app used, can't even register. Tells me my details can't be found. 1 of many complaints since discovery have taken over.

I have been trying to update my contact information and as I try to enter the OTP it does not appear in the box. I'm typing it in but it does not reflect, I don't know why. At this point it's better to deal with the call centre than with the app.
