Altech Netstar Safe and Sound

Since my device was upgraded to track my car on the app it had not worked in real time. It misses trips and does not know where my car is most of the time. I hav been calling Netstar continuously for three weeks. They replaced the device and now it's worse. It just shows unmapped!

It's just a waste of time, it's not working at all... It used to work fine, but someone messed up with it... Please fix or else, remove it

Go back to the drawing board..this app. is a disaster. Do you'll even consult with people to ensure that the customer needs are being met..very disappointing...

It doesn't work on real time basis, it updates 5/10 minutes later. I really hate it. Please do something.

Not working. It was great till the last update. Can't see my cars anymore. Please fix. This problem is going for a while now

Does what it says it does. Sometimes there seems to be delays in updating location but not often. Edit: Read up on how satelite tracking works before reviewing. The majority of poor reviews here has to do with real-time tracking where the expectation is to see a dot moving on a roadmap. Note that nowhere does Netstar claim such a function for this app, instead it explicitly states that the last known location is given. In the almost 2 years that I have used this app this last known location is accurate enough and updated frequently enough so that 99% of the time it gives a very accurate real time location of the vehicle. So much so that if you were trying to find a stolen vehicle by yourself while it is on the move you would be able to do it with only this app. If the reviews relating to unrealistic expectations of real-time location are ignored this app would have a 4 star rating.

App is a total disaster has not been working with all the recent updates. My car does not even show the location even though Altech confirmed the unit is working fine.

I have a couple of vehicles and this not even in real time ... according to the app all my vehicles parked a1 km away and never changes even during working hours .. im definately cancelling my co tract . Ille pay more to get away from this

The app is outdated, it does not report on real time. My other car has been showing in an incorrect location 30 kms away for about 10 days while the car is in a different location, trips are not fully reported. It jst doesn't work as expected, it updates the status of the cars very late

It's not working at all , I'm thinking of cancellation because they keep on lying to me every time I call they don't even know the where about of my car's themselves very useless . I will stop paying them

It doesn't show live or current locations , its is late about plus or minus 5 hours, please rectify this otherwise it with be good yo have this app.

The app is useless. It does not sure my current location, even my trips. The car has been in the same location for the past 10 days.

It doesn't refresh at times. It will stay on the last location while the vehicle has moved several locations

It's not live. Crashes. It's just not helpful at all and updates it has it reports late

Rubbish. Shows vehicle parked in a location it has left hours ago.

The app doesn't show recent locations actually doesn't show locations at all, jus shows map of Africa

This app is very poorly designed.. There is so much more that can be done. Suggestions for improvement: 1. User defined refresh rate within a prescribed parameter. 2. Live tracking with indicator arrow from start point mapping the journey. 3. Arrow colors should indicate speed. Eg. Red above the speed limit, green driving within the limit, amber for caution, close max. range. 4. Calculation of distance from my location to the vehicle being tracked. If the above can be implemented, I am certain we will have a user friendly all in one app.

Was a little apprehensive having read the poor reviews. However; my experience so far is that it works very well. Has been accurate and up to date whenever checked. Reports are very detailed and correlate to my other trip tracking app details. 5 stars if the issue of tiny text can be sorted. The web interface on a desktop/laptop doesn't have this issue and I find the info very useful. Let's hope I haven't jinxed it now and I continues to function as described.

This app is useless been with altec over 5 year and the service is becoming very pour, this app shows my vechile in another province how is that even possible, what happens in the case of an emergency. we pay a subscription fee i think its fair we get something worth our paymens.

This app is inaccurate and does not update on the current location. keep showing me yesterday or the days before's location. i am not happy because the whole idea is for me the monitor and check where my driver is.. if you can not sort out the issues with this app i will have to find a different tracking company. Even the send feedback option does not work on the app.

This app is useless,does not give real time and goes offline often. Altech do something about your app. We are giving u the problems and u doing nothing about it. We are paying for ur services and we expect good service from it.

I installed two tracking systems for both of my company vehicles on Friday 14 April 2017. Since 10:19pm yesterday evening my tracker has been showing the same information. My system is brand new. Unacceptable service. 15 April 2017 09:07am Please note that the unit fitted on my truck which is listed with the (incorrect registration number) still had not been updated since 14 April 2017, 10:19pm. I am unsure how I am supposed to manage my fleet when the app isn't allowing me to monitor the vehicle.  Please cold the tracking system for the third vehicle be cancelled.  Unfortunately I did not expect such a poor system to be in place.  Kavilyn Govender K.A.V.S Logistics

Can u consider fully integrating this app with real time GPS nd link more such as traffic info/ roads hazards/ alerts / warnings when entering high risk areas /speed warning/ routine maps etc. This app is more like an entry level. We need top App from the market leader

Of late, Netstar registers my trips very late. Some of my trips aren't registered at all. This is very frustrating as I depend on Netstar data to claim business trips. I got an error message when I tried to report these issues through the app. Please assist.

Consider more notification options such as sms or app notification rather than email only. Zone management name can include option to automate business trip markers. Allow for default email when creating alert so as not to input all the time. Fuel data would be a great add on. The Traffic link does not work locally though.

I thought Altech are old in the game an they should be far ahead than competition,this app is Kaak to be polite,it has no use,no real time i cant even view my trips/ distance/ it needs a serious update
