Exactly what I wanted. It took me a while before I got the settings correct to work for me. I had to turn on WakeLock in order to turn the screen back on, otherwise it wouldn't work consistently. (Is this normal?) For me, I had to set Amplitude to small and Speed to slow. (I think it can be more sensitive.) Occasionally, after unlocking the screen it would be all blank except for the status bar at the top and the bottom right task button -- need to switch to another app before being able to get back to the launcher. Remember to turn it on in the phone's Device Administrators setting after installing and turn it off when uninstalling.

After I used it to shake my screen on, it permanently disabled the keyboard backlight. I had to install Soft Buttons light app and use start brutally while keyboard is open to revive. Now keyboard will not come back without soft buttons light app installled. Motorola Droid 4
