I love this Yak App but why it is not working anymore? If you open your contacts to call or even just dial a number it won't work? Support Team please help!

yak is super cheap for me to use but since i updated my phone from iphone to pixel the app opens then immediately crashes. i never really worked that well on iphone but it really doesnt work at all now. waiting to hear back from them , will try their 800 number....

Upgraded to samsung s7. Now doesn't work!!!!!! Really annoying!

One year now, still waiting for this app to return cause I have a credit in my mobile account :( Come on Yak., at least respond and let your customers know what you're planning!

Worked great until upgrade to LG5 Android 7.0. Now it doesn't work at all. Itcrashes everytime trying to make a call.

Does not work. If you try to use your contacts it crashes. Tech support are clueless.

Discussed with Yak support today. Rep confirmed the app is not working and there are no plans to replace/fix it

No longer works, entering a Pune number the app closes add soon as you reach the 10th digit. Update and fix it please!

The app only seems to support the 'call-back' variety of yak long distance calls. Why not also support regular outbound long-distance, eg. figure out the local-access number, call it, and then dial the number I selected? Doing this without an app is a nuisance unless I manually add the yak access number to all my ld contacts.

Does what you expect. Beautiful and simple layout

The updated version of this app absolutely sucks. Impossible to log in to an account I have had with Yak since 2007. Come on Yak get your act together and get an app that works at least as well as the old one. Very disappointed.....

if I try to manually enter a number it crashes and closes out. if I go to contacts it crashes and closes out. I have read the many complaints above and nobody from Yak has even bothered to respond to the comments to let us know what's going on.

Used to work great, but ever since I upgraded my phone to Marshmallow, the app crushed on an input of a 10th digit. Can't even select a number from the contract list. Useless... Will give 5 starts once the issue is fixed.

Once I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S7....this app doesn't work anymore. Keeps crashing when I enter the 10th digit of the phone number or when I try to bring up my contacts. Help someone, help! I need a cheaper way of making LD calls besides using my carrier. The work around is to use the app on my Galaxy tablet to place the call....that works. I guess it's better than nothing.

Every time I go to input the 11 digit long distance number the app stops working when I get to the 10th digit. Tried the more traditional method by calling the local Yak number - when I get the dial tone I type in the number and then it just disconnects..... Frustrating. Very frustrating

I downloaded it, but my new (fantastic Mobilicity) plan gives me FREE N. American calling, so I really don't need this anymore... I had to get something, YApp wasn't convenient without an app for my Android, and I just couldn't wait forever... perhaps I'll use it for calls outside N.America, but I rarely EVER make any... too late on this one, sorry guys

just called them this morning, no more support for free use of the app!

The app's contact search that auto-populates the number into the number field adds 011 in front of all my numbers now when I add them. There's no way to edit a number after you've entered it either so you're hooped.

Very useful app but lacks useful features like remembering your login details and call history. Bugs: I constantly get the following error: "network connection error: conversion failed when converting from a character string to unique identifier". When this error happens I must log out and login for the app to work function correctly.
