Works but not fun to use,a lot of work for one unread message

Seems to work perfectly so far. Just wish it showed people's names instead of just their phone number

Only unreader app I found which actually *works*. ... Just *REALLY* needs to access the phone book to display names instead of numbers, and allow grouping of message threads...! Then it'll get more stars...! ;o)

Doesn't quite work. Running Galaxy S5 with 5.0. For whatever reason it only marks the newest message from whoever last contacted you as unread, not the message/thread selected. Also would be good if it automatically reset the selected messaging handler when you closed the app.

It works but you have to switch it to be your default messaging app then switch back. This app has a shortcut to that option within it to change it though so it's not too much of an annoyance. Just glad it works! Yay!

It's so dumb how popular messaging apps won't let u mark messages as unread. This app helps bring it back. However, I'm giving it 3 stars cause of the rigemerole u have to go through to make it default messaging app temporarily. It should make itself the default when u open the app and take itself off the default when u close it.

I have installed the newest version, i select a message to unread, open the android messaging app and i see another sms marked as unread

Worked as advertised, for me anyway. All I can suggest to people who it doesn't work for is to long press the message for a while AFTER the message pops up saying it's been marked as unread. First time it didn't work for me but as I did this it started working. Also if you're phone is rooted or customised maybe that has something to do with it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Jellybean stock.

Doesn't work! I downloaded it despite of the comments below, and I deleted it within a minute it does not work!

I think the people who have reviewed this don't know how it works. Open up THIS application (not the messaging app) and hold down the message you want marked as unread. Great and simple application.
