About PluckLockEx
PluckLockEx automatically locks your phone when it detects sudden movement.
This can be used for a number of reasons, including locking your phone when it is snatched out of your hands or dropped.
**IMPORTANT**: This app uses the Device Administrator permission!
The Device Administrator permission is used for a non-root method of locking the device screen. This is used when PluckLockEx is triggered only.
**IMPORTANT!** - To remove, go to Device Administrators in settings and deactivate PluckLockEx. Then you can uninstall normally! There app contains a tool to help you do this.

Improvements include:
- AppCompat UI that adapts to native theme, supports older devices. Uses Material instead of Holo on newer devices
- Configurable lock method (device administrator, root, fake [for testing])
- Add option to test lock method
In the application page, you can configure a locking threshold of motion and select a locking method when the threshold is exceeded.

I'm skeptical of apps that rely on sensors in the background due to ???? drainage, but this app doesn't seem to have an impact on my battery life to a degree significant enough to make me stop using it (or even for it to be noticeable, quite literally. The ???? drain seems comparable to having location on, and maybe even less - I can't stress this enough). I feel the author did a good job minimizing batter use, and the insignificant bit of drainage is worth the increase in security while outside. Had to leave 5 stars for such a simple, free, and flawlessly working app. Would really like a home screen widget so I could toggle the log on and off, but may see if I can control it via Tasker so when I leave my house PluckLockEx automatically turns on. Wish there would be a pro version, even though there's no ads. A setting off 30.0 seems to be the "Goldilocks Zone" for me, also. Great app! A true gem!

Useful idea, but a reasonable minimum threshold is at 50-55, the current default of 10 is way too low.

Can't uninstall or deactivate. Way too sensitive to any movement.

These are the best sort of apps.. Simple, useful, lightweight, open-sourced and free - both of price and also advertisements. One thing you may want to note, Dev. If using root method, the user must disable "On Body Detection" in Google Smart Lock. Else, although lock screen gets invoked as designed, swipe to unlock is still active. Device Admin doesn't suffer from this, but then PIN entry is required. Thank you!
