If you are interested in Amateur Radio then this is a very useful app. It can be used to get a quick look at conditions without having to fire up the Main Radio and tune the bands. Any band can be pulled up from the menu and it will give you an idea of the conditions on that band by showing the reported spots. Menu options allow you to not only select a band of your choice, but call-signs can be filtered if you are looking for a particular station. Easy to download and install, it is well worth having. Though I do not have amateur radio equipment, due to cost, I find signal propagation extremely interesting. Sun spot number, Solar flux, Solar flares, Solar storms, Aurora activity, and more, are there. Add actual weak signal, high frequency radio stations and their operating conditions, and this is a beautifully concise application for anybody interested in HF signal propagation. Should I ever stumble across a very affordable, free, or repairable, HF transceiver, I will get my license.
