Media Renamer for Android
I just simply like it.

When I freshly install a new Android Version to my phone this app is always in the second wave of apps that are installed. Incredibly helpful. I love the resulting structure by dates!
Only support pics in Camera... Disappointed that file cannot be renamed to what I want, just change from system style name to another system style name. May be I get you wrong idea, I don't need this app. Sorry.
Cannot find my photos
but need polishing, does not support 3gp files ? Or this is related to Android media ?
Excellent app. Does what it says. This app will rename your photos based on the date they were taken/created, and optionally sort them into folders by date. Developer is extremely responsive to email feedback. Feature request: It would be nice if the "Root Directory" setting had a "browse" button to navigate to your photos' location, rather than having to type the path manually. This would make the app accessible to a broader range of users.
Not user friendly, but works fine.
I don't know how to use it. It's just a blank white screen. FIX !
All you get with this is a white screen & when you click on the 3 dots you'll get a menu. Lol you can play about all you like but it won't do anything. Another misrepresentation. I think Google should sort /throw all this rubbish out.
I just simply like it.
Serves a very niche purpose, but does it very well. Keeps my pictures and videos well organized. Love the fact that it has Tasker support.
This app works great it is easy to use. I love it because it is the Only App that will rename and move them by (date/time) Metadata of when the pic or video was taken.. So all media ends up in order.. Nice job... Thanks for fixing the bugs in the last update.
At first, this app wouldn't recognize any files in the location I specified, so I set the root folder to my internal sdcard location and let it attempt to refresh. The app hung for awhile and ultimately I had to force kill it. I never had a chance to confirm any actions before it changed every media file name under my root folder (all ringtones, alerts, etc.). I'm still assessing the impact of this. It was definitely not the desired behavior.
Only had 2 issues. First, my fault for not reading help on how to use the file filter. Second, crashed after renaming, but got it all done quite quickly anyway. Minimal interface, maximum configurability. Has an option to turn off moving files to new folder.
Dont install it deletes your pics then uninstalls itself
Does exactly what I need. Renames pictures to date and time taken and sorts into folders. Phone doesn't do that by default for some reason...

Nothing even showed up. UI.
Horrible app, there are better ones out there...

Tried to get Help, got Error 404 (auf Deutsch). Wanted to add '.png' extension to a batch of files created by 'mobvista700'. All files had purely-numeric filenames, no EXIF data. Apparently, I was trying to do something this app was not designed to do, and got an error message about improper file format or similar. Struggled, trying vaniations in settings, no luck. If date/time is required, please say so.
