My first good, free IRC for mobile. Have not been on IRC since 1997 but wanted to go back to my roots. Did everything I needed and is fun to use. I found an IRC I wanted to visit and searched all the free apps, this was the best one. Simple, straightforward. Nice colors.

It is very nice, my favorite irc client. But when I disable timestamps the text will start being indented randomly instead of saving screen space...

T70%
by T####:

Best I've tried so far!

B70%
by B####:

App uses excessive amounts of battery life. There is no way to close the app fully without force killing it. If these issues were to be fixed, it would be an otherwise good app.

R70%
by R####:

After getting my new phone I downloaded andchat, because that's what I've always prefered to used on android, but for some reason it kept crashing. I never really cared for yaaic and the last time I searched the play store all the other irc apps had some type of unforgivable flaw. I'm glad I searched through again and found this gem! Was very impresses with the free version even though no parting message feature, but after paying for full version,I find that its there!

When I disconnect and close the app, it keeps showing the apps icon/logo in notification bar; there is no way to remove it unless I go to apps from phone setting and force stop it. This is stupid. So, I clicked on the "help" from the drop down menu in the app, and it opened up my browser went to different links. I landed on a site that started a vibrating message like it was a virus. So disappointed

by A####:

I've used the app for nearly 2 years now, and mostly it's been better than the competition, but for some reason, ever since the last OS update, it's just burning through bandwidth and battery. It's showing up as over 50% of the phone's total battery consumption.

Pretty slick client, this client is pretty nice dark theme icons are well made. One lacking feature is notifications on query, currently only highlights on nick or keywords.

Notification doesn't work.

Any /me lines are opened in a separate query titled with your own username. Why?

N70%
by N####:

Wow, I love this app. Just wish enter would send the message and that you could sort the room list by number. But those are just suggestions, not complaints! Excellent. EDIT: I do have one complaint. When someone uses the /me function in a query, it opens up a second query with your own username that has their action in it. That's a bit grating.

There is no dcc chat in nicklist menu, i wanted it for my eggdrop, coz 4 ★

Overall I'm pretty happy with this app, but PMs don't seem to work very well. Every message I send is duplicated, at least on my end. It's annoying and a bit of a dealbreaker for me.

Great IRC app. lots of features. But how do I exit the app when I don't need it running? It seems I have to "force close" it.

Single flaw: that annoying notification is there wheather I am connnected to a server or not.

As the name suggests, an uncluttered, clean IRC client.

The ONLY real android IRC app. Stable, full featured & a breeze to set up & use. Not some hideous developers hack tool that is barely more than a bad and confusing gui on top of an unstable irc client. I've tried sooo many other IRC clients & every one was just beyond terrible, unuseable, stupidly designed, missing features, crash constantly and none worked to log into chat-rooms/channels with passwords/keys. Lite IRC is different to all the others. It's almost perfect.
