Robot36 - SSTV Image Decoder for Android
Pretty cool app. If you can set some parameters on the modes, especially raw it would be perfect. Stuff like timings and that I mean.
Wow - this works great! Tested it on a few youtube samples and it just detects te mode and decodes the image -wow. This is a great piece of software for your resume ;) Many many thanks!
Just great !!
Works great
Awesome
I have a Sony tablet with Android 4.0.3 that can no longer be updated. The app worked great with SSTV from the ISS, but no longer. Woukd like to go back to the previous version. Any help woukd be appreciated.
Great app! Remember to stop the scanning when you close the app, or it will destroy battery life. I'd really appreciate a toggle to automatically stop listening and processing.
App works for all phones. Take some time playing around with it first to get a hang of it. I got mine working and it has many options to choose from.
For some reason on my Galaxy S5 none of the options work, so I can't do anything but Robot 32.
Since the update it works flawlessly on my Nexus 6p
Even after closing everything in task manager, it still runs in background...uninstalled
Genuinely wonderful.
Detection in milliseconds, not like other applications.
It works!
Perfect app! I was able to decode sstv frequencies perfectly!
Great for the ISS using a Icom 92D.
This SSTV decoder is the best one I've seen on Google Play. Its images are very high quality. The only thing I noticed is how I can't find the images I recorded with the save button in the top right corner. The auto save doesn't work either. This happens on the Samsung Galaxy 3.
Sounds cool, dont know how to use.
I used this to get some pics from the ISS and it worked quite well. I only used the speaker/mic setup, and I'm sure a cable would have made a big difference. So pics from the ISS with a Baofeng and a tablet, I have spent $$100s in the past on SSTV gear so this is wonderful. I have now received quite a number of scans from the ISS.
Works well up to now, only got a partial image from the ISS and its easy to use.

Just set beside your radio AMD instantly it starts decoding
Small File size [1.1mb], works great, totally awesome!
Works well on sdr too
Thanks a million :-)
Great app. Works perfectly.
Excellent
But how about input selection? When I playing signal from file noise from microphone looks bad. And situation when you receiveing signal by mic and got notification (even in earphones) isn't good too.
I use this app often. I use it for SSTV over my phone. No laptop anymore.
Allows all popular sstv modes, and will automatically save images.
An incredibly wide range of features make this app a standout for SSTV enthusiasts.
I like how it has lots of other modes to choose from.
Managed to decode a pic from sstvencoder. Now waiting for better propagation conditions to decode broadcast images.
Finally a nice full featured sstv decoder. Also you could try to do an android port of pocketdigi? Sstv encoder needs text overlay urgently for proper QSO. You should link the two programs to send received picture within transmit picture. How about adding the old fast monochrome mode .Great work so far.
Now if only i can find someone local to test with
You know portal 2?
Finally a nice full featured sstv decoder. Please work on transmit! Add a donate button to help fund your work. Tested on moto g mk1. Also you could try to do an android port of pocketdigi so i can dump my old windows mobile smartphone. Possibility to integrate with sstv? EDIT: works great with sstv encoder! Full sstv setup in my pocket. Far better than the droidsstv app.
I only used this for that Easter egg in Portal 2, but thats all im probably going to use this for. IT WORKED!
