3.usb Ethernet adapter.
4.busybox.
5.superSU
6.kernel that supports it eth0.

i know that nexus 4 wont work with this app because the nexus 4 dose not have otg support. so if you have a usb drive and it works with your phone/tablet then this app will most likely work for you.
This app allows you to get internet on your android device from an Ethernet cable.
like if you went somewhere that did not have WiFi/cellular data or you just wanted faster internet.

07/29/17 I have a Samsung G4 cell phone using Straighttalk. This app uploaded just fine. However it did not help me connect my cell phone to the internet using my ethernet cable from my router.

This worked for me on a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9595 connected to an Anker 3hub+Enet device which contains a Realtek 8153 Enet chip. A little work on the UI wouldn't hurt, but for me the app works and 'does what it says on the tin' so 5 stars are appropriate.

Great app, I try it with Galaxy S3 4g (GT-I9305) on MIUI 7 ROM6.24 with Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro USB-LAN HUB (ET-UP900UBEGWW). Samsung support replied to me that my phone is not compatible with that HUB. It support Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro only. I take risk to buy the hub to test it. It works well. I don't have busy box or SU on phone installed but allow this app to root access in "permission". Unfortunately, some server like YouTube, Galaxyapp stores can't be reached.

Works fine with my ASUS Zenfone 5, but the problem is I can only do browse, downloading like apps in playstore won't work and youtube does not work also. I do testing the speed with speedtest, both DL speed and UL speed is around 1.0 mbps, seems fine but what's the problem? Please response. Thanks.

On a whim I tried this out on my Nexus 6 with an Anker gigabit adapter that I had for my Surface, and it worked without any issue on the rooted stock ROM 5.1. I tried a speedtest, and had a 108 down/125 up on a shared internet connection (which is similar to what my desktop was getting at the time.

Works perfectly. Note to other commenters, your speed is limited by you device's USB bus, even if you have a gigabit network, you'll only see USB 2.0 level speeds

Tested on Nexus 7 2012 with Lollipop. It recognizes the network adapter, is able to obtain an IP address, I can ping the device from another computer, but I have no network connectivity on the tablet. I can't even ping the gateway. I think it may need a new route...

EPIC APP WHY DON'T THIS APP HAVE 5 STARZ??? It really works! You'll just need a rooted device, and an otg cable with ethernet. Plug it all in and then tap enable in the app. If it doesn't work at first then turn your router off then on again.
