About Spelling Test
Spelling Test was initially created to try and encourage my son with his spelling at school. It enables you to create your own spelling tests and associated word lists. Once this is completed you are then able to try and spell each word in the test. The words are output as audio to the device via the default text-to-speech engine which is a feature that is built in to the Android platform.
Once the spelling test is finished the results are saved to a SQLite database on the device. This means that you then have a permanent record of the spelling test and can review your spellings over time.
Spelling Test has been designed to run on Android 2.1.x (API Level 7) and above.
The app was written in Java using the Eclipse IDE on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.
Spelling Test is free to use, does not have a trial period and does not include any advertisements.

A pain to figure out which words you actually spelled wrong. It calculates the correct number misspelled; however, correctly spelled words become highlighted red as you scroll through the test results.

A lot of words marked incorrect, but actually spelled right. I'd guess about 15-20% of the time it marks a correct word wrong.

Overall great app...still has issue of sometimes counting correct words as misspelled...Please fix and it would make this app that much better...

It actually helped me a lot but sometimes it has spelling errors that aren't actually belonging at the word. I hope the creator of this app also add activities to practice on the words too !
