Bluetooth Terminal

This is a simple terminal application for sending data over Bluetooth. I use it for sending and receiving data from my model drone. It connects reliably and does what you expect it to do. It would be useful if it was able to send and receive files, but even as-is I find it very useful

keyboard covers up display. sending ASCII doesn't clear input box. not the most comfortable for interactive terminals.

Using on Samsung S3 connecting to a product in development utilizing a Microchip RN4677. Works flawlessly. EZ to send text strings back and forth. Thanjs!

Nice app that connected immediately to my HC-06 and worked as expected. It would be great to be able to send hex strings (and store them) as well as ASCII ones, would earn the 5th star for sure!

Very useful for controlling my embedded projects. Perhaps a file transer option could also be added to facilitate the transmission of longer ascii scripts etc.

I have tried 3 or 4 different Bluetooth terminals and this seems to be the one that I like the most so far.

Whether data will be received by this app, if we send data over Bluetooth SCO channel?

It works, but is a poor terminal emulator for anyone used to the likes of putty or other terminal emulation programs.

So far so good, but wish it weren't restricted to vertical screen orientation.

This is a useful utility, but it would be nice to include control characters (such as carriage return and line feed) in the custom function key strings. Is this possible?

I like being able to save the data to Google drive but I don't like that sharing (email log) doesn't work for larger amounts of data. Otherwise 5 stars

Excellent app with quick display of terminal. Doesn't seem acknowledge ESC commands, but is great none the less.

Best of the dozen or so Bluetooth terminal emulator programs I tested. Works every time with HC-05 / Arduino module. If only CR did not automatically attach LF!!! (TABs do work), then it would get 10 stars. Thank you, WinGoodHar for a simple, clean and reliable app.

There a couple of features missing that are slightly annoying. It only works in foreground. It disconnects as soon as the app isn't on screen. It also disconnects if the screen times out. This cannot be disabled. Keep screen on should be a checkbox, and background logging would be nice too.

Crashes 8 out of 10 times of use.

Harry mate, I don't know what you did differently compared to the other BT-SPP app developers, but your app is able to connect much more consistently. Small request- how to send CR and LF from the customisable buttons?

Straightforward dev tool for monitoring BT traffic. Been debugging a BM77 module connected to a PIC. 2 way comms is a breeze... Excellent..
