Wifi Analyzer for Android
I have a dual band router. The videos I watched shows you can see both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz networks in this app. So I installed only to find out that I can only see 2.4. No button appears to switch between bands like the videos show. So this app is useless to me.
This is by far the best network analysing app I've seen to date. My father in law is jealous because the apple store has nothing even close to this good. He wants to know if this app will ever be made for an iphone?
Been trying to use it for work today, so had it open for about 2 hours straight, and this is the second time in that time period that my Moto G4 Plus running Android 7.0 has suddenly rebooted while the app is open. Have it set to the fastest refresh rate, can't see that being the issue though?
So, I first I had a hard time connecting one or two devices, then everything. I live in a densly populated area with wifi everywhere. Even with this app I had a hard time finding a bandwidth that wasn't in use. I didn't know anything about this kind of thing before downloading the app, and yet I found it easy to understand. I don't have a technical background and I still had an easy time with it. I couldn't recommend this more. Stop having to force connect multiple times and find a free channel alredy. Many thanks to the developers.
Needs to update the database using which you identify the router's manufacturer because it's very outdated and doesn't identify the manufacturer of either of my 2 routers, but other similar apps can. Other than this good app.
Everytime I'd pick a channel for my router the app would change and tell me it was 0 stars and advise another channel. I did this about 12 times and gave up.
Works well to see what channels are being flooded. Works for 2.4Ghz and 5 GHz. To switch between the two you have to press on the 2.4G the top left corner.
I use this app at home and at work. There's no better app out there for testing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi. One suggestion is that it would be nice to be able to have the option to view either 5 Ghz or 2.4 Ghz devices in the time graph similar to how we can in the channel graph.
Great app. But intrusive advertising which dominates screen real estate and because of screen arrangement leads to accidental clicks on ads. 3 stars for not producing a paid version.
Does not work, tells you to change channel for better signal and when you do it changes its mind as says the channel you just left is the better one. Another wasted app and my time.
It used to work well. Since last update it is pretty much useles as it does not see any wi-fi network for couple of minutes. Sad
Excellent app! Helps locate less congested channels. Works accurate for 5GHz band on Galaxy S4, but shows wrong channels on Galaxy S7 for same network.
Great way the signal data is presented. A walk round the house showed where best to put extra Access Point, what channels to use and which of neighbour's signals to ignore.
Works great on lollipop or newer. Crashes my one plus one phone on 4.4 kitkat. Probably a recent update is the problem. FYI
This app really helped pin point the weak areas of my home. Really explains the Wi-Fi problems I have been having.
Love this app. I can troubleshoot my wifi with ease. When dealing with my isp, I can give them diagnostic info which helps in finding and solving problems.
Great app for checking the strength of my home WiFi Network. It allows me to pin point the weak area's and add network extenders at precisely the right spots.
Channel graph doesn't show wifi on correct channel. Everything on 5g is defaulting to channel 42. AP list shows channel should be 48.
Garbage. Waste of time. Changes its mind as to which the best channels are.
Extremely useful little app. Helps check contention with other signals, as well as relative strength around the coverage area.
Could use some UI changes, but otherwise a great utility and honestly something every power user or Network technician should have short of professional equipment.
I've been using this app since 2010. Otd an essential app and always keeps me going back to Android whenever I need to diagnose my network
Accurate, fast, informative. The functionality of this application offered as, "free" is incredible and appreciated by the 'poor' like me. The least I can do is promote the 'value' of your offering. Sincere thanks.
Hats off to the developer on this app. This is one of my go to's when Network troubleshooting the Simplicity of it the read out, one of my key networking Arsenal tools. Only one complaint and there's no paid version of this app that I can find to get rid of the ads, yes you can hide ads for a period of time but it be nice just to purchase this app and be done with it all together.
Very helpful for finding areas with strong signal, however rated 3 because there are no option to manually refresh, can't filter WiFi signals that appear, to see a specific one only, and can't see both 2.4 and 5ghz simultaneously.
Works well, signal meter is great for checking strength throughout the house, easy to use.
The channel graph chart really helped in picking the best channel to avoid interference, however the chart with the star ratings is not working correctly as many other reviews gave said.
Doesn't work, doesn't show any wifi signal. And I'm using android 7.0...
Easy app which gives you insights into who else is using the same channel, allowing you to switch channels on your router for less interference.
This app IS AMAZING.Its not a troll or fake ones like the others This app is usefull. You need to get it!!
Channel rating no.longer works correctly. I've used since 2010, great app
As a broadband tech, I use it almost daily! It's simple, accurate, and reliable.
Shows me everything I want to see. Awesome app and its FREE!!
Great for optimizing wifi, can be hard to use in enterprise networks due to multiple SSIDs.
I'm not a network engineer so it gives the right info I need. Good app for knowing how congested your wifi radio signal.
Annoying Commercials I don't like it anymore
Very usable. Would like to see more statistics on current connected wifi network
Awesome, simple yet useful app by an equally awesome dev.
Hate that I need to have my location on

A very useful tool, easy to use and always handy because it's on my tablet. This has helped me identify issues with wifi for friends and family due to channel crowding. Short of dedicated anlaysing hardware, this is a perfect solution for both IT professionals and amateurs alike. I just wish the ads weren't so intrusive.
