Die Funktionen
Der Stadtplan bietet zahlreiche Karteninhalte, von öffentlichen Badestellen über Kurzparkzonen bis zur WC-Anlage. Neben Standortbestimmung und Adresssuche macht eine Routing-Funktion die Wege in der Stadt kürzer. Mit der Offline-Version lässt sich auch ohne Internet-Verbindung im Stadtplan navigieren. Wer diese nutzen will, lädt sich einfach die Basiskarte herunter.

WLAN-Standorte sind ebenfalls im Stadtplan enthalten. Es werden nicht nur die nächsten Access Points angezeigt, sondern man kann sich auch gleich verbinden. Zur Auswahl stehen die wien.at publicWLAN Hotspots und die Hotspots von freewave. Bei beiden funktioniert das Verbinden rasch und unkompliziert, es müssen lediglich die AGBs akzeptiert werden. Den nächsten Access Point zu finden ist natürlich auch ohne Internetverbindung möglich. Einfach den Offline-Stadtplan herunterladen und GPS aktivieren.

QR-Codes werden von der App nicht nur gelesen sondern auch geprüft. Kamera über den Code halten und schon zeigt die App den Inhalt des Codes an.
