Pink Noise for Android
This pink noise generator would be useful as a sleep aid, if only it didn't leave little silent micro-gaps every few minutes. Uninstalled.
It makes pink noise, with a single touch. I want nothing more from a pink noise generator.
I have tried several white noise apps & this is the only app that shuts my brain down & I actually sleep much better than I have ever.
People do some reading on White vs Pink noise. Many people here that are asking for white noise. Pink is on frequency. Its not the same , but research (look it up) states you will sleep deeper and not need as much sleep . Memory is enhanced with Pink too.
I love the app. It is much better than any White Noise app. I can't think of one negative thing to say about it.
The app disabled my alarm clock twice. Time to uninstall. unacceptable.
On unlimited play it keeps cutting off for no reason, which disrupts my sleep
Nice, clean, pink noise...exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for a straightforward, no BS app.
It's horrible. It's basically static.
Other reviewers were right. It just sounds like static. Uninstalled.
The app closes on 6.0, even with battery optimizations disabled for it.
Good, but not uninterrupted.
It just sounds like static
Would be great if we could set our own play limit
believe the bad reviews, the noise stops and then starts abruptly now and then, woke us up and is really annoying. Ima keep looking for a pink noise maker app to help with sleep. don't bother with this one.
Just sound like static an annoying
Sleeping
Technically 1/f noise. Fractal.Seems very relaxing. Sounds like a waterfall or possibly a heavy rain. Would like more variety, but I am glad someone created one of these for android. I suspect the loop alternatives will become less effective as the brain picks up on the repetitive loops. Educationally, one might include the ability to vary the spectral density continuously from brown to pink to white noise. Regardless, thank you for creating this!
There is (at least on my phone) a high frequency "jingle" is the only word I can come up with, like someone jingling keys, it's very quiet but drives me nuts. My guess is that it is artifacts caused from a not high enough bit rate.
It was terrible for me, but I have tinnitus and misophonia. I don't think that's the apps fault, but it's not a good app for someone like me. The sound was grating, it seemed to exacerbate the tinnitus ringing.
Is only useful when you want to annoy someone so bad they punch you in the face
There is some kind of tinkling, jingling noise that I hear in the background.
Produces pink noise for a selectable amount of time, nothing more, nothing less.
Blocked out all sound
Yes!!
Love it
Noise Wall includes more.
Just what is needed
Don't kno what I'd do without this... love it
I took off 1 STAR because the menu is too complicated.
Simple and easy to use
Relaxing

People. It's _supposed_ to sound like static. What did you think that Pink would be singing and Victoria Secret models walking around in PINK lingerie would suddenly appear at your doorstep? Also, I don't hear any jingling of any type. It could be your phone, audio jack connection, or cheap headphones. It works fine for me. Simplify the menu by letting user enter time to play sound. Add a page that explains what pink noise is used for and for how long for it to play to have any therapeutic effect for tinnitus treatment. Make sure audio file is not compressed.
