Smart Receipts Plus

Was a bit confused at first as I did not realise I could manually add image receipts as opposed to pay per scan. The app seems quite good, with plenty of scope to customise. Also very quick customer response.

This is a 5 star for keeping up with receipts. Makes expense reports a breeze. At the end of an account period I just email a report to myself and presto I'm done!

Fantastic application, have used it for years and completely made tax time super easy and great for finding lost money...totally recommend

I just installed the purchased version and I have questions how do I contact you? It says I only have 2 scans left and do I manually enter the receipt info? I did not enable ocr as it is per use charge so I didn't think I would have to pay to use each time.

Is it more user friendly than before. More categories and ability to add categories

Sanity saver. Easy to use and to organize all receipts. Life saver in Japan, where I was able to immediately record my expenses. Reports are easy to create and send / download. Flexible, plus responsive support.

What makes this app stand out is that it is most secure due to not having an OCR feature. This means that your receipts do not go to a third party for interpretation. If you travel to places like the UAE different shops show differen portions of your CC number, making it easy to glean the whole number with only a few purchases. Manual entry has been mad as simple as possible so this has been Great for a traveling consultant. I can't rave enough.. I dump the cvs table into a speadsheet that automatically uses the data for tailored invoice reporting and for CPA at end of year.. it's sooooo cool. My clients love my invoices (well, the format anyway). And, CPA loves it. I might only suggest one added custom list... as a nice to have.

Very easy to use and well written software. It doesn't require any cloud service. Just take the photos of your receipts, export to pdf and Excel. You're done. Excellent piece of software.

I've been using this app through 3 phone upgrades now, so at least 5 or 6 years. I love it. We even wrote an Excel macro that takes the csv and saves it so that it is compatible with our financial software. Over the years I've seen a lot of new features added and the developers are very resposonsive to email requests whether for help or new features. Being able to add account names was a great addition. Now, if we could customize the csv a little, that would be even bettet. The extra headers get in the way of our macro. Great app. Wouldn't want to live without it.

Great app. Use it to monitor my spending on a monthly basis. Download data from app to spreadsheet. Very flexible with categories and reports. Like the feature of capturing those important receipts in digital format and being able to print in the report. Developer has always be very responsive to my questions and comments.

My company has its own expense system, but I needed to find an efficient way to both retain all receipts, and most important, generate a thumbnail view of the actual receipts in pdf to submit. I was able to filter the report to pictures, and remove the table and cover sheet. Setup in 2 minutes. Perfect.

Awesome app to store and keep track of receipts....especially for my business. Had a hard time getting receipts back after I reset my phone, but customer service was super quick and extremely helpful in getting it resolved. Highly recommend this app!

Amazing app. Love it. Makes my travel reimbursements so much easier and is less rigid than others I've tried.

Although it could use a few more features, this app makes tracking receipts very easy, and I love that it is open source.

Been using it for 3 or 4 yrs. now and has never let me down.

I regret buying it. I think it is not user friendly at all so I went to their homepage online for directions and they didn't have them in the user's guide. It tells how to do a couple things then has no information on any additional steps. They say "sorry info not available" basically. It allows you to photograph receipts but doesn't allow true tracking of them.

Does exactly what I need. Still learning a new function about it every day. Love that its so mobile. No more forgotten or lost receipts. Creates great reports for my accountant. Love it.

Works well for receipts. Would be nice if it attempted to detect characters and amount otherwise simple and easy to use. Also great customer service. I had a question and it was answered in 1 day.

I am a frequent traveller. I switched to smart receipts over a year ago, and never looked back. The user experience is superior to other similar apps. Interface is very clear and has all you need. I usually save the reports and backups on google drive. Then pick them up from my office pc. Many thanks!

It is missing a few things that would be helpful. How about having a vendor category? It would be important for some to have the ability to know how much $ was spent with specific vendors. How about the ability to crop the receipt image after its taken? How about the ability to archive completed trips so that you don't need to see them but they are available in a drop down menu under archives or something like that? Those are a couple things I would like to see.

I recommend people at work who goes on travel a lot. People tends to lose receipts so this app let you take picture at the dinner table or gas station in real time. One wish is if it scan receipts so we don't have to type it.
