I love this app, I have noticed a couple things, but, I will email my thoughts on those to the developer.

Great thing. I use it to monitor working progress. No need to be there. The workers just send me pictures.

Because mine doesn't when exiting - restarting always resets configuration.

I like this app, and use it frequently. One minor suggestion might be the option to put a black or white bar behind the lat and long. Sometimes, even with the shadow, it's hard to read on a small screen, depending on the photo background.

If I leave the app and go to the home screen on my phone, when I return to the app 1:3 times the app will tell me the camera is locked by another application. It will do this even when it is the only active app on the phone and the only solution is to restart the app. It will sometimes throw the same error if I try to turn off a Geomarker (GM). For GM you will need to regularly calibrate and even then, when the photo saves, the GM will often shift. GMs also disappear and have to be re-entered occasionally.

When you take the photo it doesnt show you MGRS it shows you Lat and Long

I have a problem using Samsung Galaxy S2 camera as it cannot calibrated properly to magnetic compass. Hope developer can resolves this problem and also add arcsecond to bearing/azimuth. Now after updated it from previous version I have another issue: distortion live view. Any idea?

The latest update corrected the problems and I'm happy to report that Geocam rocks once again. One terrific app!

Though may I humbly request to add a feature that will adjust the font size of altitude and date. It seems too small compared to ptevious versions. Thanks! ***Sony Xperia Z5C

Still need to test it out more, used the free version for a long time, so we will see.

It has all of the metrics except the extras that early adopters don't worry about. My phone is the SGS III [International] For the future: Maybe adding a speedometer and this can be a further step towards encouraging car geocaching adventures. Add AR GPS somehow integrated with Facebook events, Google Places, basically all of Localscope's (iOS app) metadata capabilities and this can be the most eye pleasing car app to use.

This app worked perfectly on my Galaxy S II, but on the S4 the compass simply does not work and stays stuck on N the whole time. When the app starts, it says 'Compass requires calibration', but when you go to the calibration screen and 'Touch the screen to calibrate' nothing happens to the stuck compass. The help site contains no page on calibration either, so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. If I am it's not obvious. I used the app a lot on the S II. It's a shame it is 'broken' on the S4.

I like this app, but can it be updated, so there is an option to remove all the aids and just show a transparent list of the data in the top left of the photo. Allow the capabilities to adjust the type, position. size, font and framing of the data presented

This is great for a quick and (really) dirty survey and mission planning.

Would love to be able to get the cardinal direction at the bottom in mils so I didn't have to convert it. But for such a minor complaint...it's a great a app.

I imagined one day having a consumer available camera that does exactly what this app does! Very impressed! Now if I could have an actual dedicated camera that does exactly what this app does, I'd be even happier. :-)

Oddly, it records video but not images. It doesn't fail or crash but not image is stored even though it acts like it does. All the gallery thumbnails are black. I have another full-size G3 and it works fine on that.

Its a great app for photos... but I purchased it for video. Until you are able to export the video, it is useless for me. Will adjust if they ever fix this major problem.

Application is very useful!! But I only see a chart showing a plot of the roll pitch yaw information. It would be good if I can export the roll pitch and compass reading along with the position. Is there a way ?

Little bouncy on the azimuth but otherwise great. A small suggestion would be some short period average would help alot wirh the bouncyness of the readings.

Bought pro version and no pictures I Take show up

Most of this is great, but the compass reading is almost 90 degrees wrong. Note that the compass on my phone is correct when the phone is laying on a horizontal service. But when I hold the phone as I normally would for taking photos, the compass is very wrong. Since part of the point of these photos should be to document the azimuth or "look angle" from the recorded location, this seems very bogus. Samsung T-Mobile Galaxy S2 (S989).

Galaxy s4. On the top and bottom of every pic I get a bunch of horizontal lines resembling noise. Otherwise it would be a wonderful soft. Please fix, thank you.

With the French Theodolite app, when you share/email a photo, it includes a KML file that the receiver can click on and be taken by google earth to the spot the picture was taken. With this app you must manually view the picture and transfer the gps values to google earth. Theodolite isn't available to android apparently. Just Iphones :-( Still a great app and well worth the cost.

Great apps, but you should be able to pause and rewind videos as well as share them via Bluetooth or Email................ and where is the desktop version so they can be viewed on a full size screen?

I like it but it needs the ability too download recorded video showing compass, pitch, roll etc too computer then I give 5 stars. I like it enough to purchase but will appreciate said feature.

I miss the "ED 1950" Coordenates (European Coordenates) which I work. It would be a good thing be able to use the Zoom directly from the "Volume Buttons" or closing/openning with the fingers on the screen, because select this function from the menu cause shake the recording film.

Great product. I camp and hike regularly, and this is an invaluable tool for off trail, or deep woods hiking. An absolute must have!
