A very poor app. I will not be a customer while I'm forced to view digital issues on this app.

I subscribed last year and, while I'm able to access issues in the archive before I subscribed, but haven't been able access any issues going forward. The app tells me to log in to get the issues, but to ignore if I got a subscription elsewhere, like google play. So what am I'm to do? Unless it can be figured out how to get what I paid for, I won't be renewing.

Very hit and miss, despite numerous uninstalls and reinstalled downloads don't work and when they do they are corrupted. The customer support is sympathetic but ultimately ineffective as they can't offer any other solutions. I think they have had numerous complaints as they don't try to persuade you to stay if you ask for a refund of your subscription. They did try to upsell me to Prime, but if the basic app doesn't work why should I plough more money into Wargames Illustrated. In fact on reflection I think one star is a better reflection of my experience. AVOID THIS APP!

DO NOT BUY! I like the concept of the app, but unfortunately it does not work on newer android devices. Same problems others have described that the full content will not display, only pictures. You will not be able to view the magazines you purchase. I was using a Samsung GalaxyTAB4. In fairness, they tried to work with me, but eventually they gave up and processed a refund. Until they specifically fix these issues I would not recommend it to anyone. IMO, they would be much better off abandoning this App and selling as a PDF like their competitors.

I'm now using this on a Nexus 9. I purchase an issue but am limited as to where I can store it and am limited to viewing it only on the app. The files are huge, so storing a complete collection on a device is out of the question. I would much prefer less interaction and smaller files that I can use on other readers. Advertising revenue definitely outweighs user convenience here. Text is difficult to read as zoom is now disabled. Terrible app design with limited function. Avoid.

This app is a mess. The download fails and jams. There are repeated problems with the payment system. Avoid!

You have hundreds of back issues. I'm not interested in your monthly fee. Just offer cheap old issues via the play app.

This is a terrible mess. The menu bar across the top never works. Constantly get trapped in an issue with no way to exit or "back." Downloading is hit or miss. Given the extremely high quality of the magazine, this app is a travesty that is killing a loyal and (previously ) enthused customer base. Using (or finding it impossible and frustrating to use) on a Galaxy Tab S2, so not a bizarre or off brand device. Feh.

Gave up and uninstalled after repeated attempts to download issues. Now when looking at my library only about half of the stuff I've purchased is showing. Not going to bother any more.

Download appeared to be blurred, not fully loaded and then it went to a blank screen. Not Happy, Jan!! I think WI have stuffed up on this one. I want my money back & the other mags will get my money.

Only pictures and advertisements are rendered, the text does not appear at all. Unusable.

Worked for a while on my Droid Maxx but now crashes whenever I try to start it. Play now shows the Maxx as not compatible, but my old Asus Transformer is listed as compatible. To make matters worse, there does not seem to be any tech support option. Very disappointing. Glad I did not subscribe.

Dreadful. Bought magazine and can't read it.

No zoom not much functionality. Allow me to save my issues on the external card.

I love the mag if I could view it and I wish I never subscribed as it is asking for more money but can't even read what I paid for !

OK enough app, no more fiddly than others. Support is terrible when you have an issue especially when it's something you've paid for

Dreadful app. Constantly freezes and crashes. Such a pity because the content is good. But until the app is properly fixed this is best avoided

Have had issues over the past year but love the mag. Can't figure out how to resubscribe

I wanted to buy some of the archive issues but it was such a nightmare navigating around the app and viewing anything I gave up. Lost sales....

I use this on a Galaxy Tab 2, navigation within the individual "issues" is easy enough, but exitting an issue to open a different one has been touch and go. I find myself trapped in an issue more often than not.

No zoom not much functionality

Really shocked at how bad it is to navigate. The app is buggy as hell and to top it off an extortionate price for a downloadable copy.

I've been waiting for a fix to have more than a half-dozen pages be readable over five downloads. Luckily, mags can be read without the app. If you are using an Asus tablet, test the app with the demo issue before spending anything. If any of the pages or features in the demo do not work, avoid spending any money on the publications. I've had the app since there were less than 50 downloads indicated and none of the updates have done anything to make it work on the TF700. As I mentioned, the basic magazine without any of the "glitzy" features can be read without the app, but it takes a bit of tech knowledge to do so.

Latest update is broken and I can't access any of my purchased issues. Galaxy Tab

Biggest gripe is when you are on a smaller tablet and tap the page to enlarge text it does not maintain resolution and is blurry. Other magazine apps stay sharp or give the option of an article view. Looking for a specific page is difficult because it does not offer page tiles to scroll through at the bottom of the screen. Oddly the sample issue does offer this particular option. The positives are that you can look at individual figures or photos with a nice 360 view.

Just bought and downloaded June issue of WI. It's not shown in my issues, cost changes to 0.00$ and I don't have any way to read it. Also help is opening for me each time I start application and there is not an easy way to get out of it to other app pats

Cant get to work on the current version keeps crashimg to the home screen plus the touch screen stops working when attempting to select an issue

Fix the first issue with the app. Now with added pinch to zoom this may be a good app. I hope the add it soon enough for us android users
