Eye4 for Android
Hopeless program. Also new version 20-10-2017. Directly the clock is one hour wrong. Wrong set automatically by eye4. Please vstarcam. Use the camera your self in the office. Because when you watch a recorded file. Go forward and back the program crash. DON'T BUY THIS BRAND CAMERA. THE SOFTWARE IS HOPELESS.
I really must say that this most recent update has brought this whole app back from oblivion. It is now extremely responsive and it moves the camera without delay - fantastic! Still I'm unable to find a way to adjust the clock, something probably so easy to build in to the app and it's a miss. The MAIN issue is the format of the recordings when reviewing on a computer. Can the developers please recommend good software to play back the videos on, because it's near impossible to find a compatible one, or even better than that - record in a format that any normal Windows video player will recognise! Please respond, thank you.
Your app is getting better and better. Less lag and the interface has been improved. May I suggest homescreen widgets? Eg being able to have your cameras viewable on the homescreen via widgets just like IP Cam viewer.
App doesn't close correctly, have to force stop it. Camera stopped working after couple weeks. Tried to reset it and now only works when wired connected.
I can't recover the password and resetting it and using the original password doesn't work. Previously it kept crashing and saying camera is "offline" after viewing three or four 15 minute recordings. Update on above review: I have now uploaded a newer version and it appears to be better. I have found that the app doesn't crash if l pause a recording before opening a new one. I have overcome the password problem but I still can't get the camera to work wirelessly despite many attempts.
It's a horrible app that doesn't shut down properly and is a HUGE battery hog. I'm dumping their camera and app because it's so bad and I can't trust it.
First attempt to get to work failed. Next attempt with reboot of camera worked. System worked well with overnight observation of dogs. Would like to see up/down and left/right controls for pan/tilt operation.
Ceased working after most recent update. App fails to find camera and then crashes. Please fix it. Android 7. Reinstall partially fixed problem but crashes when opening 75%!!!
I can't see what options there are when I fully scroll down at the very bottom of the app's screen (Samsung S8+) It's really frustrating! I have no idea what the selections are down there.
Motion sensor only works if you set a schedule, so I just set it for 00:00 to 24:00 everyday of the week, works great now. UPDATE no longer works after last update, will not connect to the device
The app would be great if it would work reliably. I constantly have to reboot and reconnect because of freezes. Ps. The windows desktop app works great.
Not bad but i would like the recorded images to be able to be viewed immediately like some other type of ip cameras i have . Although in the message section the app shows a still of the area the camera is trained on it only goes to a live picture when you press on the actual message. Thanks
The app needs a lot more work. When it functions it isnuseguk however I have to force stop it a lot or I can't get back into it and after the first night of owning these cameras I no longer get motion detection notifications... this needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY.
Can't even register. Program does not work. Can eras are therefore worthless
It works but some settings refuse to save and it often fails to start. I cannot enable sound recording and even with motion recording enabled it still says 24hr recording.
Terrible, no concept of proper UI, hard to use, cheap. If I had known how bad the app is I would not have bought a Vstarcam camera
Latest version not working. Can't login. Display bugged on the Galaxy S8+ at least.
Recent update: Camera is not working. Showing connecting and just stuck there.

My camera keeps going offline even after reset. My other Camera that hasn't had the update is working fine. Please fix immediately!. I have contacted your support and no one has replied me!. Its been 4 days now, thr camera keeps asking me to change passwords but does not actually keep it
Camera. Company. App. Everything, does not work how it should. You get what you pay for. Never logs in properly, put in password and doesn't work so keep having to add new email or redo password every few months. Camera looses connection and resets itself to default position, every now and then we cant access any of the recordings. And we think we are being spied on by the company as we can see there is someone else on network.
I have 3 cameras. The first two was a little difficult in finding my Wi-Fi, but finally I got them to work. Now on my third camera no matter how many times I try I can't get the Wi-Fi. Tired of hearing her say wireless detection is waiting. Fix it or I will return and leave a bad review where I purchase the camera. And my Wi-Fi is working fine, it's your app and no support anywhere.
The camera has just arrived but is being sent back immediately due the app that doesn't work properly, it has taken 45 minutes and I've not got past the registering of it! Total rubbish!!!!! It is advertised as a 1080 camera but has 720p on the box?!!!! Cheap and nasty!!
Each update breaks something that worked before. Now I can not rotate my cam, even the presets dont work.

For Samsung S8+; ***Positive*** Able to login Eye4 App User ID and View the IP Camera remotely beautifully. ***Negative*** 1) Unable to Log Off and Login to other User ID for other remote IP Camera. Temporary Solution: Need to Uninstall and Reinstall Eye4 App in order to login to another User ID. 2) Setting Menu is not shown. Please help to fix the above issues. Thank you.
