After being an avid Uber user for a year. I've deleted the app. I got fed up with their mediocre service and expensive pricing. I started using Via recently at a recommendation of a family member and I'm so glad I did. The drivers are nice, the routes are efficient, and the pricing is very fair. Definitely give it a try. No facility to time delay car arrival. Software instructs you walk too far in time allotted. Few times driver almist left. Otherwise good app and service.

So I wrote a 5star review last time. But now it's a 1 star review. Via has deactivated my account for no reason. I had about $150 in my account. When I sent via an email regarding why they deactivated my account they said it was because of nefarious activity. And that I would not get my account back. That's 150$ down the drain thank you via. Everyone I took via I was a quiet customer always said thanks for the ride never did anything bad. I have no idea why my account was deactivated. This is a good app despite the fact that they basically took my money and deactivated my account. The drivers were all nice. It came in a good amount of time. Usually the average wait time would be around 5 minutes. Good ride sharing company. Despite me losing over $100 because of something that i have no clue about.

The driver is 10 blocks away from me yet the screen shows that my van is here. This is a joke. I waited in the 22℉ for 20 minutes for my van whose suppose to pick me up in 8 and I don't even understand what I saw watching the van icon on the map took a downtown one way road up for 4 blocks.

Great customer service and updates on your ride. I don't mind sharing a ride or walking a block or two to meet my driver when the price is so low and the drivers are so pleasant. They're also rapidly expanding their zones so that's a positive!

Via will let you down if you depend on late night rides - which for a ride service are by far the most important time to be dependable. I found myself in Brooklyn outside of range tonight. I tested my pick up/drop off timing to learn that it would take around 7 minutes for a car to arrive. I walked 25 minutes to make it to an appropriate pick up spot. My first ride was canceled. And then - standing in the cold - I repeatedly got messages about high volume. Why wouldn't there be queue? How is a car company willing to leave a girl, or anyone for that matter, stranded so late at night? I raved about the app, as I left my friends to walk to a pick up point. Beyond disappointed. This company is not reliable.

Just wanted to get an idea of pricing before I used the app and how the app works. Before I could see anything I had to enter all my information including card information just for it to tell me I was out of the zone. That information should be available before I give you all my details.

The car broke down half way to our destination. The problem is that neither the driver nor we had a good way of contacting Via to remedy the problem.

This app is bullshit I bought a 50 credit and 7 day unlimited pass and can't even use it because the can't pin point my address correctly smh don't even waste your time with this app they robbed me

Im from Chicago they have a small zone they drive in which is a bummer

The drivers and cars are fine but the app is terrible. Very difficult to figure out where to be picked up. Time estimates are our if whack. They also don't necessarily do you off at your destination. Might be 2 blocks away which in rain or late-at-night is horrible and unsafe.

The passenger pickup and dropoff routing is terrible. They drop me off over 2 blocks away from my dropoff location in the middle of nowhere in potentially dangerous areas because the driver needs to pickup a new passenger. The driver could easily take an additional 1 minute to drop me off where I requested, then pickup the new passenger but the driver's navigation is too dumb to apply that basic logic.

Great alternative to metro for short trips in DC. Faster pick up than Lyft or Uber and only $2.95 per ride. A great addition to ride and car sharing options.

Great service but the app is slow and clunky. You need some QA on it.
