About VerbTeX LaTeX Editor
VerbTeX is a free, collaborative LaTeX Editor for your Android device. It allows you to create and manage LaTeX projects directly on your Android device and generate a PDF by using Verbosus (Online LaTeX and Octave Editor).
This software is provided "as is" without warranties or conditions of any kind, either expressed or implied.

Limitations in free VerbTeX version:

Import existing projects in Local Mode:
* Link to Dropbox or Box (Options -> Link to Dropbox / Link to Box) and let VerbTeX automatically synchronize your projects
OR
* Put all your files in the VerbTeX folder on your SD card: /sdcard/VerbTeX/Local/[project]/
Please note: At least one .tex file must exist. The name of the project is the [project] folder name.
Change the default template for new .tex files: Add a file called 'template.tex' in your local root project folder (/sdcard/VerbTeX/Local/template.tex). The next time you add a new document to a project the new .tex file will be filled with the text of your template.tex file.
Dropbox support: On the start screen press Options -> Link to Dropbox (Please unlink any third party tools that access your VerbTeX folder).
Use any .ttf font:
Put your font file (e.g. BukyVede.ttf) inside your /VerbteX/Local/name-of-project folder and reference it in your document (russian in this example):

If you experience any performance issues while using the editor please try
* to disable syntax highlighting and line numbers by choosing Menu -> Syntax Highlighting: ON and Line Numbers: ON
* to split up your project into multiple .tex files by using the include{...} command of LaTeX

It's okay.... I does plain LaTeX really well, but gives no options to create .sty files to customize your documents. You have to already have these files and manually add them into your file directory. It would be an easy thing to fix, just don't auto-add the .tex extension when crating a new document in a project. In short, this is not a power user app.

Very good initiative. Works as intended. Soft keys for commonly used symbols could have been made better. This is particularly important, as android keyboards are radically different from PC keyboards. As of now, one has to go over several pages (depending on the keyboard) to get access to even the characters commonly used in latex.

I don't know if it's the app but for some reason my Greek letters are not generating. Other than that its okay. It would be great if we could see what the output would be like before we download the PDF. Also you could make it easier to access the downloaded PDFs .

Functions well and is not as bug prone as other free latex systems I have used. Love the dropbox feature and functionality and ease of use of new packages. Granted, I've only used it for a week but so far, so good.

The best LaTeX editor I have seen to date. Does not need any other download (needs an internet connection). Very convenient - even better than editors for PCs. Simply loved it!

So far so good. Links to Dropbox (after restart), auto-outline is a nice feature to help navigating and see the organization. Lovely syntax highlighting. I will be writing parts of my thesis with this. I will get back to y'all after I have thoroughly vetted it.

I faced a problem. If I take print of the pdf which is downloaded on the basis of my latex program ,then I see that the document does not cover whole A4 size paper. It only covers middle region only and other part remains blank. It looks bad. How can I fix it? How can I send you my sample project?
