Broadlink RM Plugin Lite

its works fine with Alexa but however discovery fails after closing this app or phone goes to sleep mode. can you help in fixing this issue.

This app paired with an emulated hue bridge (HA bridge) on an RPI was the solution to voice controlling my TV as well as ceiling fan through GH. I run the http server on my shield tv and aside from the initial setup of the remotes it works great... In the current release I can't seem to read the sets of my macros. The steps aren't visible in the edit field. Could be a theme I'm running. They still set up fine however. Nice work

Aashik benjamin, i wish i could reply to stupid comments.. Check YouTube if you want a tutorial.. It took me 5 min to find more than what i was even looking for.. He probably told you to search because you're acting helpless and seemingly want to be spoon fed. Which id understand if the info was hard to find but its not.. Search for broadlink alexa and ctfu! 1 star cause you're lazy? Or spoiled? Maybe stupid?

This app lets you control sooo many things with your broadlink device. Its been so good on everything ive tried with it. Joined subscription no prob, also enjoy the constumizable widget controls. Alexa can now do so much more!

Excellent app done just what I need to bridge alexa on my Amazon dot. Plenty of video online and it works well. 5 stars without a doubt!

Pretty cool, can you add support for running a macro on widget press. So I can turn everything on with one button.

New macro facility solves the previous combo code problems.

Running this on an Android box with a static ip as an Amazon echo bridge. Works perfectly.

It says if u have problems send email person responding emails doesn't know anything and is rude.

Commands no longer get sent from Tasker, which had been working most of the time til latest update. Manually testing IR commands from within RM Tasker (invoked from Tasker Configuration button) seems to work reliably, however.

Brilliant, whoever designed this app is a genius. I'll definitely subscribe to this. After a few hours of getting to grips with the app and overcoming a few Alexa connection issues at the start, it now works perfectly with my RM-PRO broadlink. Have patients and time. Alexa found my devices that I put into this app when changing my wireless IP a dress to a static one. Thank you

No idea why it has stopped working with alexa. The test still works. Can forget the devices and rediscover them. Alexa says ok. But nothing happens.

Why did I begin to replace all of my HomeEasy sockets? This app is totally awesome. I can now stop buying tp-link. I can't describe how happy I am.

Have added Alexa devices, however whenever I try to ask Alexa to discover devices, it would not find any. Tried with different phone and still not working

The app is too complicated for newbies like me. Requested for help and guidance to the developer but he asked me to search on Google. No proper tutorials available on Google or YouTube too. Complete waste of time. I wanted to pay and get the full version but now cause of the ignorance of the developer will try some other app or wait for the the Broadlink eControl app itseld to get better

Finally, after a month of struggling with echo dot, I was able to connect Alexa and Broadlink RM pro with this app!! Simple, intuitive interface and works great! Thank you again!!!

Brilliant app that does just about everything you need for RMPro integration with Amazon Echo...and is the only thing I've found that works with long-code RF systems. Really well thought out and coded.

Broadlink said yesterday it s working on a Skill to work directly with broadlink RM. This app also works well but only for 2 commands on and off. I wish it had a full remote features like econtrol app has.

Wanted to know if its possible to control the channel with tasker and autovoice. I.e. say "channel 123"

I've tried a old version several months ago, it crashed but then I got a quick response and bug fixed. I didn't use the app since then but I was in no rush since the dev promised me the trial period would start from the beginning for me. Now I wanted to check the app again but I can't and I'm waiting two weeks for a him to reply my email...

Works beautifully until I get 'Device is currently not supported' message. Hopefully support for Broadlink RM mini 3 (also known as Black Bean) is added in the future.

I am really thrilled with this app, it works very well and its capability has been elegantly designed. I particularly like the HTTP API and have written my own python wrapper which consumes the plugins functions and allows me to integrate my existing IRRF control system. With a few more additions this will be perfection... --Simple MQTT event publishing to enable state monitoring --MQTT Bridge - exposing API functions over message broker --Add missing functions on HTTP Bridge - need to be able to populate codes, macros, and alexa from other machines. Keep up the good work - marvelous!!!!!! Oh, I nearly forgot. Would also be nice to be able to receive IFTT events from the Alexa 'trigger' command. This as a way of getting round the ON or OFF restriction. ie Alexa trigger TV Channel five

Useless after latest update! Worked fine in version 1.6.8 but updating to 1.7.x it has lost all my devices. Unable to add devices back. Alexa bridge has stopped working. Alexa finds devices then loses them again. Http bridge doesn't work on the update either. Very disappointed. Can't believe I am paying for this. Gonna try and roll back to 1.6.8!

After looking for ages and trying many different ways to link my amazon echo dot to my home automation system controllef via a broadlink rm hub I have finally found something very easy to setup and works brilliantly! Hats off to the creator, they must have worked hard on this!

I love the app. It great. However may i suggest the below. 1) To have a code button in the main app. 2) To have backup function. 3)To have export code button. I feel this is essential for your app.

But how do i add TC2? Its a broadlink lightswitch which uses RF to trigger. I cant teach it through this plugin

Damn i was waiting for an plugin for so long..you're awesome...would like to see A1 integrated to it..and variables to control in easy way. e.g get room temperature, humidity, noice in variable so i can use it log send notification and other stuff..

I've bee loving this app the last two days, but now I find I can't add any more widgets. I get a message everytime telling me that I need to add a remote in the Broadlink app, but I have lots of remotes there. I tried adding a new remote but I just get the same message. Any idea why?

Latest version still not working on mobile network. But this is way faster than the official app itself, and much more. I'm getting the full version for sure. Hopefully the dev will get it sorted out soon.

Installed the trial, had an issue, mail the dev, got an update within hours, tried again, worked, bought full version! The missing link in my home automation system!

Finally a Tasker plugin for Broadlink
