Ballistics Calculator for Android
Bullet weight is a component of the ballistic coefficient!
Not pretty, nor friendly to use.
The only thing that would make it better is a huge database of everyone's known BC and make it look neater.
Will not save the input data after closing app. All data has to be re-entered everytime u open the app.
Uses "read phone state and identity" permissions after installation, even though pre-install perm check showed no perms required. Uninstalled.
It does a little bit more than I thought it would
Does what it says. Needs option to output in mils & ability to save solutions.
As the last reviewer noted it needs the ability to save different load data. The additional holdoff data in mils would also be great. Good start.
Great app. Dev did a good job. Its easy to use and has helped out at the range. THX DEV
Strelok is much better. Has bullet weights and will save information for multiple rifles/loads. Does mil and moa with reticle options too.
Haven't used with gun yet, but no force close when playing around with it. Seems fine. Droid incredible.
Has potential but still lacking. No field for bullet weight, so I uninstalled. That one is just a little important:).
Doesn't have a place to enter the bullet weight
Does it is supposed to do, without fanfare.
This doesn't help at all.
The actual holdover is approximately double of what this calculator computed.
Would be great to not have to re-enter everything on every use. Better yet - saveable profiles for different rifles.
Nothing to brag about, u get what u pay for.
Too technical for many. Would like a simpler option for quick in the feild estimations.
Wheres the Meters and Mils options?
May have potential, but exceedingly lame & difficult to use when compared to Ballistic FTE for iPod. Uninstall
Works okay but doesnt save data input making you input bullet parameters everytime you load program
It works and its free.
Force close first try..
Without bullet weight the app is VERY lacking.
Awesome calculations its great for sighting my gun and choosing the right bullet
Installed and loaded fine. Format was a little askew, but I could still page through the fields. Crashed while inputting data. I would love to see a tablet version.
Needs the ability to save multiple data sets. Also, the drop table will clear if the phone is changed from portrait to landscape.
More accurate the other ballistic calculators as long and you have a chrono and a Kestrel... Needs option to switch to mils!
I like the simple interface, but it needs a mil option. After getting my solution, I then have to convert MOA to Mils
Awesome app. 1000 yds shoot w rifle zeroed @ 100yd. Imputed known variables & shot close to target. 2nd & 3rd hit metal gong!
Not quite up to the benchmark of, BALLISTIC FIELD TACTICAL EDITION FOR IPHONE or IPOD. Still good for a free app though.
Not really dat accurate. im shooting a 7mm rem. Zero at 100, it tells me to adjust 4 MOA at 600 yrds. DOES ANYONE KNW OF ANY OTHER GOOD BALLISTIC APP
Works OK. Got me "in the ballpark" in my 1000-yard shooting class. Good for a free app.
Willl not run on my droid x. Pay for a better one. That's what im about to do.
Good setup. Need to allow to input metric units of measure for military apps though. Had to uninstall
Would like to see a way to either save or export data otherwise great tool!!
Very accurate, if you know your muzzle velocity and bullet B.C. you can figure the rest with your phone. My 6x47 lapua by TWR custom matches exactly!
UI is very weak. Not user friendly. Shooter is way better and worth paying for. Nice try though.
An App that Works, Gold Star, its supposed to work. Congrats you did something Correct.
